The forums are just...forums where you can talk to other members about Celtic Thunder, or whatever. But everyone is a major CT fan. lol. The Pub is more of a live chat, and the lads go in there. They're both fun. But I usually spend time in the forums because its not live. Sometimes in the Pub, a convo is already going and I just enter and watch.

I got the story from the Celtic Thunder official Pub on their website: celticthunder.ie. The lads go in there occasionally and talk to us. I've never been there when they were, but I can see what they posted. Damian told this story to us about a month ago. lol. Smile

The Lake Story, told by Damian himself (he typed it too, so blame him for spelling mistakes. lol):

Posted ByLaughingamian Mc Ginty-- Aww dont talk to me about this lake. We were moved from our usual accomodation because it was booked out for a few days primary to Phil booking us in. So we came to another place which has a lake beside it. Here is the story of yesterday!!! Keith-Damo yee wanna go canoein? Me-aye y not? 30 mins later. Keith-Damo get off here two secs would yee(an island in the middle of the lake!! Me-No worries!!(how stupid can i get?) Keith swims away in the boat. I stand on the island for an hour or so. Keith comes back as the other boys are watching. Keith-Get in Damo. Me-FINALLY, that while nice of yee Harkin. As we r goin to safety, keith starts to shake the boat. I go inot hysterics and before i know it, he capsizes the boat, and im in the water clothes and all. DAY 2-We go canoein again after a hard days work. Goin nicely for half anhour....when i am handed the ore. All of a sudden it capsizes again...out of nothing. Keitho blamed me of course....a bit harsh in my opinion.....but i could not believe it. Nearly had heart failure. Bitter cold water, unexpected aint good.!!! End of story.........probably until day 3!!!!!!

I wanna tone my thighs & butt & a little on my stomach.
I have a swimming pool & I swim a lot. I need help eating healthy stuff & some good work-outs.

Hey girly, u could try some ballet flats, they don't hurt ur feet. Good tennis shoe brands, hmm, I'm not much of a tenni wearer, but my sneaks r sketchers. I've been a vegie 4 a year now. It was hard getting into it cuz my fam is big meat eaters, but I had been wanting 2 turn vegie 4 a while. Any tips on good vegie meals to pack in a lunch? P.S. it's cool ur gonna be a nutritionist, sounds great!

Hey cozmo!
A really healthy snack that tastes yummy is a fruit smoothie! All you need is half a cup of low-fat yogurt(preferably fruit flavored), two cups of milk, and two different types of fruit. Blend them all together until it's smooth and creamy! If you like it really cold, add a bit of ice to it. My favorite combo is peach yogurt, milk, one whole pear, and one whole banana,
Another yummy treat is apples or celery in peanutbutter. Also, if your in a salty mood, you could have pretzels and peanutbutter, but be sure to get your fruit and veggies later!! These are a few good snacks that should be yummy!! Thanks!

To help you with cutting down on sugar, before you eat the sugary stuff, eat something healthy, that way when you're eating the sugar, you're full enough to know when to stop. If you eat healthy before, you'll feel more full, therefore you won't want to eat as much sugary foods! (FYI fiber fills you up very fast! So grab a bowl of cereal)I hope that makes sense! And to get a good amount of fruits eat easy fruits such as a banana, grapes, an apple, and those kind of things. It's a lot easier to grab an apple or banana, than it is to prepare a pomegranet. Also, if you feel like eating something a little more sweet, try a cup of applesauce or a cup of cut up fruits. Another good snack is apples in peanutbutter. For dinner you could make a fruit salad by cutting up apples, bananas, grapes, oranges, and anything else you can think of! It will last for about 2-3 days if you squeeze orange juice on it! A good way to get veggies is as simple as carrots and dressing! I love to have carrots dipped in ranch as a quick, healthy snack! Also, if you like celery, a super-good snack is celery and peanutbutter! Protein and veggies all in one! I hope I answered your question! Thanks!

Hey. u have a lot of good advice and i'd really like your help!!! Ok, so i eat OK most of the time. I hate trying to "diet" or restrict things from my diet cuz it makes me want it that much more! Usually after dinner or after school i eat too many snacks. i keep track of my foods and their calorie content and i eat around 2,000 calories a day but i just don't feel im eating very healthy. I eat a lot of sugary things, but i'm not too big on the salty. Do you have any advice on how i can stop eating too much? and what is a good way to get my fruits and veggies in? Thanks SO much!!

Here's a few good leg exercises:

-Wall sits:stand with feet about 1 and a half feet away from the wall. Pretend like you are about to sit in a chair until your legs are bent at a 90 degree angle. Hold for 15-30 seconds(whichever you can do) and repeat 4 times, resting in between.

-Squats: stand straight up in an open area. Bend forward and bend at the knees. Do this 10-20 times (again, whichever you can do)

-Leg lifts(side): Lay on your side with one leg on top of the other. Rest head in palm. Put other hand on ground in front of you to stable yourself. Raise your top leg slowly and then lower it slowly. Repeat 10 times on each side, and if you're up to it go for 20!

-Leg lifts(forward): Sit on the edge of a chair. Raise both legs 10 inches above the ground. Hold for about 30 seconds. If you feel like you are about to fall off of the chair, scoot back a little in the chair.

-Flex and point: Sit in a chair and raise one foot up. Point your toes to the ground, then flex up toward the ceiling. Do this in a rapid, quite motion and repeat 30 times per foot.

-Lunges: Stand in an open area. Bring right foot behind you about 2-3 feet. Slowly, with torso keeping straight, bend knees toward groud. Stop when your back leg is about 2 inches off the ground. Hold for 15 seconds. Then slowly come up. Repeat 5-10 times for each leg.

Remember for each of these exercises, everyone is different. If you feel the amount of times you do the exercise is too little, increase the number. And if you think it is too hard, reduce the number of times you do the exercise. Do each of these exercises once a day. Thanks!

~what to do~
NEVER EVER SKIP MEALS!!!! Bad idea! You could become malnutritioned, which is when you don't get the right amount of a specific nutrient, this could cause you to become sick. What would be healthier is to eat less fatty sugary food and replace them with healthy nutritious foods.
About your thunderthighs: Trust me they are not as bad as they seem! It always seems worse than it is. To get rid of them, just tone them. To do this you can do a few certain exercises:
