VERY sorry this is so late! I haven't been on in FOREVER! SO here we go...
When I 1st got my period my schedule was very messy & unpredictable. It usually came in 1 month (the days I never knew), but one time it didn't. I've read somewhere that sometimes it takes up to 2 years for periods to regulate, so don't worry too much about it.
Also, I've been using tampons for a while now and I ABSOLUTELY recommend them! You don't feel a THING while wearing them and they're very comfortable once you get used to putting them in correctly! It didn't take me long to get used to putting them in, & no one notices you're having your period as in comparison to pads. When I used pads, they were bulky, uncomfortable, & a LOT harder than tampons to hide when you needed to change during the school day! Hope I helped! Jackie (:
