Hmmmm, I'm not so great at boy advice but I'll try to help!

Well, if you don't think there is any point what-so-ever to the relationship, then don't go out with him. If you don't think you will be comfortable and you will be embarrassed then why waste your time? You can always just ask to be friends if all things turn to that.
