Hey girl! OMG I haven't left you a comment in forever!!! I've been really busy. You have no idea. I have so much homework and studying to do, plus club meetings after school, hanging out with my friends, doing stuff to meet the service hours requirement at my school(40 hours a year, do you believe it?)and projects and stuff... ugh. I've been so busy. So what's up? How's school going? Been doing anything fun lately? My school's homecoming dance was last night. My date was sooo sweet. It was really fun. And then I had homecoming day today. And I had to volunteer at the freshman class table for service hours because I need ten every quarter. And the quarter is up on October 15. But now I have ten hours, so it's all good. Anyway, I hope you aren't mad cause I haven't talked to you in so long. I can't guarantee I'll get back to you right away if you leave a comment, but I'll try! Things have settled down a little bit, at least for now.

I wish I had more options for electives. My only choices this year were chorus, band, dance, latin, and line and color, which is the most basic art class at my school. My only real option was chorus. Although I guess I'm happy with that anyways, lol. Soo... do you play any sports?

Yeah, thanks for the advice! I'm totally not used to A and B days. I had classes like that every day, too, but I only had one a day and I didn't get to pick. We had health, music, computer, P.E., and art. But Spanish wasn't considered a special, it was a seperate class. And this year for my elective I'm taking chorus. But it's not like just a fun thing or whatever. I get grades and have tests and exams. Which kind of takes a little bit of fun out of it. What do you want to take as your elective in high school?

I live in Maryland. How about you? Yeah, some of the guys I went to school with were jerks, too. But there were some that I was friends with. So I have mixed feelings about that. Ooh yeah, homework sucks.... I have no idea how much homework I'll be getting this year, but I'm sure it will be more than last year because it's high school. But the good thing about my schedule is I have A days and B days, and I only have 4 classes a day. So when I get assigned homework, I'll have 2 days until I have that class again. Where as last year, I had all my classes every day. I haven't started school yet, but I have freshmen orientation on Thursday and I start classes on Monday. Do you have an elective or anything like that this year? That was totally random, lol.

Hey! Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I left for vacation on Saturday morning and I just got back tonight, and I didn't have computer access where I was. I go to a private Catholic school, too. I'm sad because this year my best friend is starting public school and I'm still going to private school. That's the worst part about private school for me. You're seperated from your friends because there are a lot of schools to pick from, where as with public school, you can't choose where you go. Like there are a lot of private Catholic high schools where I live, so a lot of people that I went to school with for elementary and middle school will be going someplace else. Are you going to be going to private school for high school as well? Where I'm going is an all girls school, which I'm like half looking forward to and half not. So all the guys I went to school with, I won't see anymore. Except my school and another all boys school have combined dances once a month. How's school for you so far?

I'm going to be in 9th grade. I start school on the 31st, but I have freshman orientation on the 27th. 8th grade was sooo fun at my school because we did all these end-of-the-year things. We had a pool party, a luncheon where the 7th graders served us, and we went to an amusement park. And the best part is we got out like 3 weeks earlier than the rest of the school! It was awesome. Enjoy your last year of middle school because it goes by really quickly! 8th grade went by so fast for me. And although I'm excited about starting high school, it also makes me really nervous.

Yeah, I wish I did recitals for voice lesson because it would give me practice for singing in front of an audience, but my teacher doesn't do recitals. Sooo what grade are you going to be in this year?

Cool. I've had solos in chorus and musicals and stuff and I take voice lessons. But I haven't done anything really big yet. I still get pretty nervous singing in front of people. But I figure the more you do it, the better you get. Do you ever have piano recitals or anything?

That's cool that you play piano. I used to play the flute, but I don't anymore. I really want to learn to play the piano and the guitar. I love to sing, so I could play and sing at the same time, and I also want to write music, so playing an instrument would help with that. Do you sing?

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my comment. I totally see what you mean about the positives of uniforms and I definitely agree with them. Thanks for bringing them up. Also, I'm glad you like wearing a uniform. I was just saying that if I was given the choice, I would choose no uniforms because I like wearing whatever I like. oh well i prefer wearing my own clothes, i find it hard for me to express myself any other way. and people can still get bullied an judged even with uniforms! there hair, accessories, or makeup could be not good enough. but i guess its just your preference. i would hate it, but thats just my opinion.
