Well, I see you are in a tough situation. I am It's A Girls Thing GB (Gossip Babe) So I will try to help you. First off, it is HORRIBLE that people are spreading rumors. But, I was just thinking, do you have a facebook or a Myspace or maybe a blog or something like that? If you do, I would probably make a public apology (Even though I know it wasn't your fault.) Sometimes that just makes people feel better. Or just try to be friendly. Most people would say to ignore them, but you can't. I know how that feels. So if someone just says like "Your so Mean." Or something like that, just reply, "Well, glad to know your opinions" And walk away. That's what I would do. I am really sorry about that situation though!!! Hey chica, First I would like to start off as no of this is your fault at all, so if you ever find yourself blamming your stich on yourself stop and take a few breaths. To start off with your mom, one night you should just ask her to sit down with you and to give a half hour to explain everything and ask her not to interup. Also tell her your not making any of it up, and if she hasn't seen if before show her your mad journal. As for the kids at school, you have to try not let it get to you, because the more it gets to you the worse it will be. And seeings though the teacher wouldn't do anything about what is going on, stay in for lunch one day and do the same thing, talk to her and explain. Just remeber don't lose your temper and try to stay calm. The best thing to do is NOT change schools even though it might be better, no matter what you will still have all those kids at your old school and maybe some new ones at the other school. The more kids you can talk to and let them know you never did it the better. Just try and stay calm and try not to let it get to you!!! Rember everything thing has an end, and if its not good, then its not the end yet. If you need anything at all we are all here for you at It's a Girl's Thing!!! <3 Everyone!!

Hey!! OK first thing I want u to kno is that u didnt do anything wrong, you should talk to all your friends and say that you are extremly sorry, u need to tell them that ur notebook is for your eyes only. Also that U write those things in there because u get your anger out that way u avoid gossip. I'm sure that they rather u write ur problems with them in a private place other than talking about each other behind ther backs. And also say that no one is perfect and u know that people might not think your PERFECT. Also If you ever are going to have a notebook or diary again, keep it in a safer place, such as in a briefcase that requires a combo(and keep that in your closet)that is what I do and not even my parents know its there!! Hi! sorry I havent really been on GL in a while so yeah.... About your question, I would first apologize to Lydia even though you dont want her back she could help you tell everyone you didnt mean anything. Also you may want to talk to your other friends for help too. and If you have a way to talk to everyone in your school like facebook or something so you can let them know.Another idea is talk to the school principal or counselor or your parents for help to tell everyone that you didnt mean what you wrote. Ad its a PERFECT idea to write youre anger oin a note book but you may want to try putting it somewhere where no one will find it kay? Good luck! xoxo

Hey chicky! I personally don't think you should try to go out with Jake, for a few reasons. First, he's your older brothers friend, and he's at your house alot. It would be really awkward if you two dated and broke up, and then had to see eachother often. That would not really work. Two, he's 3 and a half years older than you. Two years is usually the limit in my mind, but you should ask yourself if it matter to you, and ask your parents if they care. He might think of you as a little sister instead of a possible gf. Your younger than him, so he might just think of you as a sister or a friend. But the decision isn't up to me, so just follow your heart and do what it tells you to do. If you decide that you really want to date this guy, I wouldn't just come up to him and say "I like you." since you talk to him often, I would throw in some flirting. Put your hand on his arm when you laugh when he says something funny, etc. Good luck! Just follow your heart! xoxo Megan

Hey! Well that's a tough stich. It doesn't sound like he knows that you like him. Considering that he's your BGF, he wouldn't ignore you just because of that. Think back to when things were cool between you two, did you act different? Is there ANYTHING you could have done to upset him? If yes, apologize for it sincerely and say that you understand if he's mad at you for a while. If no, then invite him to do something that you used to love doing together so you two can just talk. Maybe it has nothing to do with you, maybe something happened in his life that he's struggling with right now. If that's the case, do your best to help him but give him some space for a while. And one more thing- this might not be the best time to profess your love to him, I would wait (if you're going to tell him) until you two are good friends again. Good luck! Hey! Sorry if it sounded like I was trying to tell you to forget him...I wouldn't do that, but I WOULD give him some space, at least for a while, until he's ready to tell you what's going on. That's just the best thing to do right now I think, because trying and trying to get him to talk to you hasn't been working out. It may not be easy, but just wait and see what happens. Hey!! Ooo that's kinda a tough one! Well first of all, maybe he didn't see when you were online, and that's why he's not answering? The phone thing is weird though...so something must be up.Idk if he's mad at you or he found out you like him, but he probly is avoiding you for some reason. What I would do is try one more time, maybe call him, if he doesn't answer send it in an IM...and tell him you need to know what's going on. If he's your friend he should not be avoiding you like this, even if he is mad at you. He needs to tell you what's wrong, because you care about your friendship and want to fix it. If he doesn't answer you back, then I'd say just leave him alone. It won't be easy, but he'll talk to you when he wants to. I hope this helps, and good luck!! <3Lj
