my soccer team just made two thousand dollars profit from a candy sale! we all went to school and clubs and just with friends and family and sold the candy. i can almost garentee the profit that you make will be FAR much more than what you spend on getting the candy. also, last year we did a car wash in a really popular parking lot. (like a grocery store, etc.) (ask someone if they have connections (Smile that also got our team about two thousand dollars. trust me, i know four thousand dollars seems huge and i don't live in like beverly hills so, i'm sure your squad can rally up the money no problem! good luck! p.s. college courses, WOAH baby! that just makes my head hurt as i think about summer Laughing

I'm sooooooooo endlessly sorry for not commenting! I was banned from computer for about 2 weeks (History grade went from A to B, UGH!), and then I've been so busy with all-city chorus ane prepping for exams that I haven't had time! Anywho...your guy friend sounds...very nice *wiggles eyebrows*. haha! I haven't found any guy yet, but there is this super cute guy in my English and PE class and I like him. He likes this volleyball player, but he might change his mind. You never know. He's on a swim team and is totally toned, and has dark brown hair w/ brown eyes. He's so hilariously funny, too. And he's the smartest person, like, in my school. YUM!

For tryouts my advice is
1. Ask the couches what there looking for
2. always be happy don't feel said b/c that means u have no spirit or pep to be a cheerleader
3.make sure u try everything that the couches are looking for like (backflips, handstands,splits,roundoffs, etc)

I know right? It's like once you really take a good look at him, you know you're not missing out on anything special. I finally realized that mine was a jerk. That is so great that you're trying out for cheerleading! I know you can do it! I don't know much about it, but all I can say is to just focus. Like, REALLY hard. Concentrate on hitting your moves again and again. I used to be a dancer (jazz) and just don't look at the people individually or you'll lose it! Just get lost in the music and make sure you're moving in sync with everyone! There's this really awesome book series, and they're called: I Was a Non-Blonde Cheerleader and they're my fave! There are 3 I think.

I was gonna try out for cheerleading this year, but my friends wimped out on me. lol. You should probably just do a routine you've been practicing and you feel comfortable doing. And have lots of charisma and spirit. Smile

Umm, sorry, I've never done cheerleading before. But maybe if you looked up online cheerleading moves so you know some of the basics it would help. Just try and get in shape before tryouts and be really smiley when you tryout, because cheerleading is about having fun!!!

When mine broke up with me, I just walked away in tears, cried about it for an hour, and then...I was over it, which is SO not like me. Anyway, I'm SO glad you're starting fresh! I got some new makeup, cleaned my room, bought my BFF that bracelet she wanted and a Caramel Frappachino (She FREAKED!), and I splurged on a few new albums. I'm finding it a lot easier to focus on school and such now that I'm a single!

I totally know how you feel. I'm homeschooled too, so I don't get to see guys very often. Well, if are sitting next to a cute guy, you could talk bout something funny that someone did in the track meet. And then just get into a convo...and flirt it up. Or you could go up to a group of guys (I'm assuming your gonna be with a group of girls/boys) and chat it up. Hope that helped a little!
