**Story Contest**
Emily walked into the hallway of her new school,looking around anxoiusly to see if anyone was staring at her.She wished at times she wasn't so shy.Then,out of nowhere it seemed,a girl was right up in her face.'Hi!I'm new here too!I don't have any friends yet,but there is always the chess club to rely on ,right?"Emily felt like she was going to die of humiliation right there in front of the double doors.She didn't want to hurt this girls feelings,but she definitly didn't want to be friends with her...So she did the first thing that came to mind...LIE!"Um...Oh,I won't be joining any clubs here,my father just has to be here for business reasons for acouple of months and then we are moving back to California."She replied with no hesitation.But the truth was she was going to be stuck in New Jersey forever,doomed to a life of normallity and paleness.The better side of the lying was that later that day,she only had last period with the girl,but she didn't speak a word to Emily.Riiiiiing!riiiiiiiing!The final school bell rang.emily rushed out of the chemistry lab to her bus.but amongst the trouble of finding her bus number she bumped into somebody...He was gorgeous!He was just slightly taller than her,greenish-blue eyes and a smile as perfect and brillant as the stars in the sky."Oh,I'm so sorry!"He apologized as he bent down to pick up her books for her."My name is Evan.Are you new here?'He inquired,still holding onto her books.'Yeah,my name is Emily.Uh,thanks for picking up my books."No prob,what bus do you ride?'"i ride bus number 304,you?"'Me too!"he exclaimed in happyness.They both got caught up in an honest,deep conversation that lasted so long that they finally realized they were still standing in the school parking lot,their bus nowhere in sight."oh no!"Cried Emily"mom is gonna kill me!"'I can walk you home if you like.'Evan said politely.'Yeah,I would really like that.'With that they both walked into the sunset holding hands,knowing they would be together forever.The next month after they were together was Emily's birthday,she really hadn't wnated anything special from Evan,but he had completely ignored her request.The night of her birthday he showed up at her door step,holding a humungus box.They sat on Emily's couch and Evan helped her open it.After she dug through a lot a tissue paper,she found a bouqet of a dozen roses.She touched each one gently in her hand seeing if they were real.They were all real but one of them.Then she noticed a note hanging from the side.She turned it over and read it.It saidear Emily,I will love you until the very last rose dies.

While there arent any country singers specifically in the Christian music industry, I think you should check out Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Theyre great Christian people with awesome music! Hope that helps! Keep in touch and keep rockin!

hey girl i saw your need for advice on my page looks like your in a sticky situation ... ive been through this before... it might be akward but just talk to him be friendly and just be yourself and if you like him tell him! he must be pretty comfortable with you in order to tell you he likes you. just talk to him and get to know him better... and maybe if you get to know him well enough you might just fall for him some convo starters might be something universal such as homework, school, tv, movies, etc etc hope i helped good luck!

About the church. Well if you like him, tell him your sorry you didn't answer him, you were just surprised and that you like him too. If oyu don't like him, still apologize about answering, but tell him you dont feel the same way but would love to be friends, and take it from there.

About the girl in my class yeah thanks for the advice that's what I was thinking too. She also talks to herself,always stays after school just cuz she wants to play computer games,says she loves school,and does not make much friends. I feel bad for her. Any other advice?
