Hi Rylan. I got started in pageants because I heard about all the positive things that can come out of them- like confidence, which I lacked a few years ago- and also my friend Kate had done a mall pageant- so I wanted to try, and my parents agreed. As for the expenses, it adds up after the participation fee, the dress, makeup, getting your hair styled and nails done, buying shoes and jewelry- it really adds up quickly. It can be worth it if there is a cash prize, but the one I did was only prelim, which means only city-wide and you usually can't when any money or scholarships unless you do state, which can be really, really expensive.

And as for my summer, it's been pretty good, thank you. I went to camp in June and had a blast! For the rest of my summer, it's pretty much just cheerleading practice and bts stuff. Hbu?

My summer has been pretty good. I haven't done that much... I've just gone to the zoo, the movies, etc. (: Mostly I've just relaxed around the house. I love summer, but now I'm just restless for school. (; I miss seeing all my friends! What grade are you gonna be in? I'll be a sophomore. (:

Hi Rylan. You know, u have the same prof pic as another girl? Lol, I was confused for a minute! But yes, I am really a pageant princess- well, kind of. I've only done 2 pageants, once when I was 13 and another when I was 14 (I'm 15 now.) They were just small mall (hehe that rhymes) pageants, but they were really fun. I'd luv to do bigger ones, but pageants are sooo expensive. So maybe when I'm old enough to do junior miss or miss america scholarship pageants I'll compete again. And of course, when I'm a senior I'll do my school's scholarship pageant. But four years, wow, that seems like a very long time! But the pageants I do are NOTHING like toddlers and tiaras. They were natural pageants, and encourage poise, intelligence, confidence, inner beauty, and age appropriateness. (Lol, is that even a word?)But yeah, lol, if u have any questions about pageants I'll totally do my best to answer.

Hi! I saw your name is Rylan. I luv that name! I've only heard it once before on toddlers and tiaras. Have you ever seen that show? It's sooo outragous and totally gives pageants a bad name, but it's pretty entertaining.

Seems like we have a lot of things in common. sorry it has taken me so long to respond to you.My name is Rylan, Im in 8th grade. Yes i love laptops, Im using one right now. My fav band is Lady Antebellum. I like carrots, but peas are not really my thing.
