If you don't want people to turn against you then do everything in a subtle and slow way. Drop hints that you don't like the way these girls act and the way that one girl has been treating you. ANd start spending your time with other kids in your grade. You will wind up falling into a new group in no time. And c'mon these things happen, you guys didn't make a promise to be best friends for life...when it comes to teenage life friends come and friends go and people change, and with them changing their friends will most likely change.
And I know what you mean...I mean c'mon what person can honestly say that at no point in their life they acting a certain way for people to like them? We ALL have done that it's totally normal. However disguising yourself and personality while persuing a friendship with people is a little different adn really gives the message that you shouldn't be friends with those people. After all friends are people that have met the real you and chose to stick around lol
Don't stress to much about this if possible...I garuntee there are a lot of nice people in your grade that feel the way you do about this crowd. YOu just may not have found them yet.
Don't give these girls so much power. The only way anybody EVER becomes "popular" is by other people choosing to give them power over them. If everyone just refused to do that..they would be nothing.
