Okay I asked him and he said Vandoren's reed thickness is pretty much the same so he says he's pretty sure their 3 and 1/2 will be the same as other 3 1/2 thickness wise, but I would double check with my band director if I were you cuz he/she knows all brands! What are you playing at your spring concert? We're playing Ashokan Farewell, Westminister Procession and the Incredibles (I totally voted against it because out other option was the titanic piece but I was outvoted!)GO BAND GEEKS! I don't have a solo because we don't do solos in our band concert but I wish I did! Your friend must be super talented! I wish I could get into all state but competition in my state of NC is fierce its tough to get into all county and all district! But director thinks I'm good because I'm second chair! I only got second because I had a cold with a runny nose the day we tested and I had a cold so I had to breathe way more than I usually do! I'm trying with the pirouettes but my fouettes are a living nightmare I can only imagine pulling back up on your fouette on pointe AIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can do a really sloppy double though! Do you have any tips?

OMG! Whoops I wrote that I play the clarinet but I actually play the flute! Sorry! But my big bro who's in high school plays the clarinet and i asked him... He says he personally uses 3 1/2 too but he's in high school so... If you're looking for a good brand he says that Vandoren reeds are the best but he says he prefers Mitchell Lurie reeds because they are a bit cheaper and way easier to break in! But he said that he thinks the Vandoren ones don't break as easily... Hope I could help! Hey I was just wondering are you in 7th grade band cuz you said it was your second year playing cuz I'm in 7th grade band too! Hope I could help!

Hey girl...sorry about "Josh", you NEED to keep in touch with him...ask for his email,phone number, address,so u can visit him! Otherwise... this might not work out...maybe he will have moved on, which means u should too. I understand BGF and all which is totally fine! But it might crumble a bit with him moved away. Otherwise summer is coming, so u could visit him maybe, or video chat?

can somebody help me? i like this guy so much that it kills me when he wont talk to me. i was depressed and he got me out of depression. sometimes the only reason i get up is cuz of him. i spend a long time getting ready just for him. my life pretty much sucks, and if i didnt have him to look foward to id probably still be wanting to stay in bed all day. im not trying to be what people call a drama queen.. but could u tell me if this is -normal? -ok? and if its not normal/ok what should i do for help???? and i dont want to see a shrink my mom wanted me to go see one when i was depressed/suicidalish. comment back on my profile pleasee!!!

hey girl! i would curl your hair! also, pastel color eyeshadow looks great with your eye color! also mascara and eyeliner with a little bit of blush! as for the guy, don't intrude on him and his gf, but if he isn't dancing with her, ask him to dance- NOT to a slow song, or else his gf will suspect something is up! most of all, have fun! hope this helps! post back! ~lauren

Good for you! You're totally right. But, your missing out on BIG info. Like the fact that those animals die just for our enjoyment and benefit! I mean, I don't want to start an arguement but cute little animals are dieing and its not like that's our only choice! I'm not saying eating meat is not healthy. I'm proving that not eating meat can be healthy too! In my situation, I was a bit unhealthy when I was a meat eater and vegetarianism helped me. Most Americans eat TWICE the amount of meat they are supposed to and let me tell you its not lean. That's why I'm saying that vegetarianism is probably healthier.
