Mod! Hey, I feel super lame when I go trick or treating. My parents always take me. And when I see my friends all hanging out and trick or treating(no parents) I get so jealous and feel really lame. I doubt my parents will let me go alone again this year. So, I'm just not going to. Do you have any ideas on how to have fun without trick or treating or just how to get my parents to let me go alone? Thanks Laughing

 

 

Hey girly! I would try and convince your parents to let you go with a group of your friends. You could suggest having check-in times, or points where you call them, or meet up with them and let them know that you're ok. Explain to them how you feel, and they should understand.

Mod! Okay, my friend told me that once you reach 100 pounds you will start your period. She said she read it in a puberty book. Is this true? Or is it true that if you gain weight you will start? Thanks a lot Laughing

 

 

Hey chica! Hitting a certain weight won't cause your period to come immediately. It's impossible to say when your period will come. However, if you are super skinny, your period might not come until later.

MOD! Okay, next year I'm going to band camp for a week. And sometimes people will pants you. But I don't want to be caught in my big granny panties, or the kinds that reveal too much... I don't care because they do it to everyone. But I don't want to be embarassed! What kind of underwear should I wear

 

Some things are truly personal decisions, and picking out your underwear is one of them.  You have to decide what works for you and what you're comfortable with - just like you decide if you're comfortable with the whole "de-pants" thing. xoxo - Marie H.
