Hey Girl, Sounds like Evan, yupp, likes you. That's the only reason he denied everything. Unless Adam likes someone else and Evan's trying to protect you, but i SERIOUSLY doubt that. Next time, i would try and uhmm NOT ask his best friend. Evan, like any best friend, would/might want to tell Adam. And its not the best if you wanna keep a secret. If you REALLY want to know who he likes, and your pretty sure that 'who' is 'y-o-u', then you should ask HIM not his bestie. Hey girl, People who just date for dating are called players and/or hustler, And they are DEFINETLY people to stay away from as far as the dating situation goes. That doesnt mean yall cant be friends, but just keep that in mind. It sound like he likes you, but not actually likes you for you, but he likes a you as in a players eyes 'just to date cus shes cute.' Maybe the next time yall talk, you could bring the topic up and say something like 'hey, how long was your longest realationship.' and if it seems like a reasonable time to you, then thats a good thing, maybe he isnt much of a player as you thought. But if its a short time then he probably is a player. Or if you think he's lieing about it, thats also not a good sign. REMEMBER! Stupid mistakes cause heartbreaks. And thats a good thing to live by, you never wanna be the person that someone 'just dated for dating'. or be the person that 'just dates to date.' hope this helps, ask if you need anything else. -- Christalie:]

no prob! okay so did he begin poking you again like recently? because he probably took in how you acted when he said 'i think your cute' and kinda realized that ur not digging him that much. He might be thinking it over but if you still wanna be friends with him, you've invited him to go to places before he started to act weird, and it wouldn't be akward, i still think it would be a good idea to head out with ur buddies and his to the mall. This is because he most likley wont try to make a move with many ppl there. Well i hope this helps, and if it dosent, there are many other BGF's in the sea! Good Luck!!!

ok thanks!! he is kind of a new friend, i just met him at the beginning of the school year. i used to like him, but now not so much. and in the time since, he hasnt really said anything like that to me. but yesterday, it seemed like he was flirting/checking me out so i'm not sure what's going on cuz he gives mixed signals. we don't talk too much... but still. i'm not sure of what he's thinking now...

That seems like a tough situation. 2 bad the mods can't help but maybe i can! So has this guy been ur BGF for a long time? or did you just meet him, say, this year? because i agree with you, that was rlly odd of him to do tht. so.. 1) I'm sorry girlie but"i think your cute" means that he has more feelings for ya than just being friends. 2.) he probably wanted to ask you out. i'm sorry. If you don't feel that way about him, try being honest with him. but dont do it over text or phone. in person is better for this. 3) Think it over 2nite. if u suddenly get a diffrent feeling about him, take the GL test on pg 62 of this issue and find out. 4) If he's cool with it after u talk to him, invite him over/ out with his pals and urs. That way u can still b friends but not in tht way. Hope this helps!!
