I saw the MOD from you about your burning yourself, and I feel your pain. (Well, not literally.) A year back, I went through some hard stuff in my life too. But you don't have to damage your body to cope. I recommend talking to someone besides your mom or sister or another woman in your family. Please, don't cut, or burn, or hurt your body in any way! You don't deserve that. Talk to a friend, counselor, or get a mentor. Also,try going to the website, www.dmlive.com The guy that runs it, his name is Dawson MacAllister. He has an excellent radio program and a HopeLine where you can call and just talk to him or a trained helper about any issues you may have. Their jobs are to talk to you and help you.

my advice on the guy, don't date him.
guys are so immature, and they don't care about ur feelings. be really good friends with him for a LONG time!!! that way, u know him and if u feel like ur friendship could be something more, u know it will work out. if u jump into a relationship too fast b4 becoming friends, theres no chance 4 a friendship afterwards.
still, u shouldn't date seriously until college, because that's when u start to get engaged and everything, and u don't want to cross a line that can't be uncrossed. so just talk to him, and in a few years, there might be something more.

Hey!
Just try talking to him about 'safe' subjects at first: how was ur day, what class do u have now, doing anything fun this weekend, things like that. If u start talking to him more and be ur awesome self he'll definitely notice. If u get nervous when ur with him, don't think about how popular or hot he is or anything, just imagine ur talking to one of ur friends and say stuff u'd normally say. That's the technique I've been using and it works!!!!!
The guy I was telling u about??? He totally asked me to the dance yesterday!!!! I was so excited I was like hyperventalating! I couldn't believe it, I was like in shock. I still have trouble believing it.... lol
Anyways, just stay calm when ur with him and also be nice to/get to know his friends too, that will help! Hmm, what else.....If u see him in the halls smile or maybe even say hi, anything that will help you to ease into being around him

Sorry if this ends up being long! I just have to vent!
There's this guy I REALLY really reeeeeeally like and we've been hanging out at school and we do the same extra curriculars so I get to see him a lot. His girlfriend broke up with him at the beginning of school and he was sad but now I think he's pretty much over her and we were doing this fund raiser for a club we're in, and we were alone talking and he asked me if I was going out with this one guy (who I went to grade school with, so we hang out but we're DEFINITELY just friends lol xD) and I said no then he seemed kinda embarrassed and he keeps bringing this dance up when I'm around (it's girl ask guy but I am WAY too shy to ask and since I still don't know him very well I want to wait, I don't wanna scare him away ) and it seems like he likes me but IDK!!! But he's just so sweet....sigh....

My parents have been divorced since I was really young, now my mom is getting remarried to this awful guy with two kids, who are both younger than me. They drive me crazy! Whenever they come over, they go through the house like tornadoes, making a huge mess that I have to clean up when they leave! They are also really rude! They never say please or thank you, chew with their mouths completely open and burp loudly at the dinner table. They make fun and me and call me fat, I really don't like them and in a few months, I will have to live in the same house as them! What should I do??? Help!!
