Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late January 2008, and has been undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments at the Stanford University Medical Center.[9][dead link][10][dead link] A March 5, 2008 Reuters article reports that Swayze "has a very limited amount of disease, and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far".[11] Swayze's doctor has confirmed the actor has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but insists he's not as close to death as reports suggest. Specifically, Swayze was diagnosed with a type of pancreatic tumor called Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm (IPMN).

In early May 2008, it was widely reported in a number of tabloids that Swayze had undergone surgery to remove part of his stomach after the spread of the cancer, and that he had rewritten his will, transferring his property to his wife.[12][13] In a statement made on May 28, Swayze said that he continues to respond well to treatment at Stanford University Medical Center. In late May 2008 he was seen at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game, his first public appearance since his diagnosis.[14]

In late July 2008, six months after allegedly being given just weeks to live by medical experts, Swayze was seen in Los Angeles LAX airport appearing healthy. When asked about his condition, he told reporters "I'm cooking. I'm a miracle dude, I don't know why".[15]

Swayze appeared on the ABC, NBC, and CBS simulcast of Stand Up to Cancer in September 2008, to appeal to the general public for donations for the initiative. Swayze said to a standing ovation, "I dream that the word 'cure' will no longer be followed by the words 'it's impossible'. Together we can make a world where cancer no longer means living with fear, without hope, or worse".[16] After the show ended, Swayze lingered onstage and talked to other cancer survivors; executive producer Laura Ziskin said, "He said a beautiful thing: 'I'm just an individual living with cancer.' That's how he wants to be thought of. He's in a fight, but he's a fighter".[16]

Swayze has denied claims made by tabloids that the cancer has spread to his liver.[17]

I found my dress, it'd be perfect if it had a fitted top, but whatever it's okay. it kinda looks like a floor length nightgown with fancy lace ruffles on the sleeves and arms and neck. haha. it's fun to wear but I'm more excited about doing my hair for it. and we get extra credit to wear it all day so, of course, I will!

CA. I get up at the same time, but I'm always hungry earlier now. lol, that's cuz usually during the week I wish I had another hour to sleep so now I do (kinda)
on monday I have to dress up as Catherine the Great (empress of russia) for history class. I have no idea where I'm supposed to get the kind of dress that I need but I think it'd be so fun to wear it around school all day, lol.

yea i hope it doesn't last long i told her that she should wait to see if she really likes him or if it's just the heat of the moment and he's older. and she was like no i really like him and i was like TELL HIM YOU WANT TO WAIT!!!! just to make sure you really like him. so she told him and he's upset. but i'm gonna use that time to get him to spend time with me!!!! mahahaha lol i feel bad for telling her that but i like him too and i'mma fight for him

ugh k just told me that she broke up with her bf. not for m tho but because her dad found out. m told her that he did and she told me that she liked him a little but not enough to go out with him. and i kinda feel like a 3rd wheel cause they are always talking and i'm just there but she doesn't want me to leave her. so i stay. he was kinda flirting with both of us. but like it still sucks and because i think me and m would make a cute couple. but idk cause she doesn't know that i like him. k also said that she is too upset about her bf. and also i don't think he likes me bc when k had to go he gave her a hug and then when she was gone i was happy because i could spend time alone with him. then he was like i gotta go now and he just walked away.

yea i'm not big on halloween this year either....ok so there is this guy M and my friend K. and m and k and i were hanging out on wednesday and then m was at my game yesterday. me and k are on the same team, so i saw him too. and he was flirting with me and i was flirting back and i like him alot and stuff and he seemed to too. but then just now k is texting me and she was like oh yea m likes me and idk wat to do. and i'm like sad now because i like him and i can't tell her because we don't really talk about that. and she has a boyfriend!!!!! and m & k are 2 years apart. she's a 8th grader and he's a sophmore. and i'm a freshmen. i know it sounds immature because i can't make him like me and stop liking her...but i'm kinda mad at her. and i don't want it to hurt our friendship! like i'm really upset because i really like him

nope, no bf... but I MIGHT have a date. a few guys seem like they might want to ask me. idk, but I'd actually rather not go with a date so I'm not obligated to dance with one guy the whole night(but if someone I like/kinda like asks me then of course I'll say yes). don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I plan on dancing with very many different guys at the dance, but sometimes it's just more fun to dance with ur girls, u know?
the main thing I'm worried about is if I end up going with a date and he expects us to be going out and become bf and gf. so if I have a date I'll try to make it clear that that's not what I want.
did you do anything for halloween?

yeah, we're all getting ready for the dance together, but I want to show some of them before it just to reassure myself. but also, my brother told me he liked my dress and reminded me that the theme is las vegas (apparently he thinks my dress fits the theme) so I'm not as worried anymore. I totally forgot that there even was a theme... that's kinda dumb of me cuz I'm on the homecoming comittee and I have to go help build our float on sunday. I forgot about that too until my friend reminded me today.
okay, so it's black, white, blue, green, yellow, and orange. and the colors are really pretty and bright. the black and white are in this swirly pattern of dots and basic flowers amd the blue, green, yellow, and orange are more exotic looking, detailed flowers. it's really flowy and unfitted (like all except one of my friends could wear it and it would fit them just as well as it fits me) and it goes down to just above my knees. then there's a tie around the waist to give it a shape. and a little ruffle-ish thing on the bottom. the style of the dress reminds me of a little girl's dress, but the fabric makes me think of project runway. I'm so excited for homecoming now! I've been wearing my shoes just around my house just for fun, haha, they make me so tall.

NA!!! (need advice)
Okay, so last time I was in science (Tuesday), my teacher gave out an assignment for the section of the chap. we're working on. Today (Thursday) the girl sitting next to me asked if she could borrow my notes "because she needed a good grade and was too lazy to do the assignment!" Is it unfair that I spent 15-20 minutes writing down notes and she got off easily? (Plus she had 2 days to do the assignment!)
So long story short...
1. Is it unfair?
2. What should I say next time she asks me to "borrow" my notes?
3. Am I overreacting?

at the top of ur edit profile it will say keep my profile private.....DON'T KEEP IT ON PRIVATE!!! also ur prof has to go through a moderation process. this process takes a while because they have so many to go through..they check urs to make sure ur not giving away private info and stuff....then they will approve ur profile....just be patient and they will get urs......
