hey I just joined GL and I saw ur post from last year in Feb. Did u ever make the dance team?? i was gonna say do 'V' sit-ups and each time u go up spread ur legs out slightly more everyday to increase flexibility. For leaps do Jumping Squats, Kinda like frog jumps!!!

MODMODMOD!

Ok, so I'm in the 8th grade and I recently decided that I want to be on drill team next year for freshman year. Problem is I don't have any dance experience and tryouts are in two months. I live in a small town and there aren't many dance organization around here. The ones that are here I can't afford. I'm already working on doing the splits, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do them in time. I also need to learn to leap. My sister says I can't leap unless I build up the muscles in my thighs. Are there any excercises that will help with that. Plus, are there any stretches that will quicken the splits process. I know these things take time, but I don't really have that time. If you think I should just give it up, please tell me. And if there are other things I need to learn, please let me know.

Ok this summer I was in a musical in my town and I met this boy lets say his name is Zach.Him and I became best friends and like all guy and girl best friend relationships Zach started to really liked me, but I had a boyfriend at the time so I obviously liked my boyfriend. Zach told me a lot like that a year ago he was a cutter. Well, me and boyfriend broke up, and I was so upset I called Zach and cried to him on the phone. He then confessed how he felt about me and how he loves me. I don't feel the same way is what I told me and then today he told me two weeks ago when I told me that he started cutting again because of me!! I feel horrible and I don't know what to do!
PLEASE HELP! And don't say talk to a parent or counselor!

Hey girl,

This is a really serious and
difficult situation. I know you said you didn't want to talk to a
counselor or parent, but I do think you should consider doing that -
this is not something that you should have to deal with alone. I would
try talking to Zach and explain to him that you really do like him as a
friend and feel horrible that he is cutting. Talk to him about your
feelings and how much you do want him in your life as a friend. Tell
him it makes you sad to hear that he's cutting himself, and you don't
want to ruin your great friendship by becoming boyfriend and
girlfriend. If you feel like you aren't getting through to him, talk to
his parents about the situation. This is too serious for you and him to
deal with on your own. I hope things go well!

Help!

So I don't know if this guy likes me. I really need to know. I've liked him since last year and he's so sweet, I just don't have that much of a chance to talk to him. I think he likes me. I always see him smiling at me in class. And in homeroom, I was telling one of my friends who sits by him about my Halloween costume. Then he asked me what I was talking about. Then I told him and said like what it was. Then he said it sounds cute! I also had a dream about him teaching me how to golf! He's sooo cute! Do you think he likes me?

One more question:
How do I tell this guy I *don't* like him. He flirts with me like *everyday*. Like a few weeks a go, he just randomly talks about his fake "girlfriend." He told me that I smelled like his girlfriend! He put his nose on my head!!! How can I politely say go away?

I tried that too. I flat out said this, "Listen, ______. I've told you over and over again that I don't have a crush on you. You following me to my classes and always sitting next to me when I want to hang out with my friends is really starting get old. You need to stop and you need to stop now." And he still doesn't listen. For goodness sake my school rep is even not to mess with me but he still doesn't stop! It's driving me insane and I just feel like screaming at the top of my lungs. Any other suggestions?

Don't completely ignore him, but don't be the first to cave. Right now he's testing u, seeing if u r really clingy. Still let him know ur into him, but keep ur distance. If things don't change, make the decision urself when the time is right. I wish u luck!

Well I really like this guy. Lets cal him Tim. I think he likes me. He's alway like making fun of me for asking dumb questions in class and poking me and he'll look at me and smile like ALL the time in class. So do you think he likes/liked me.

Anyway yesterday I didn't realize Tim was in class yet, so I started flirting with "Bob." Tim saw us flirting and he looked really sad for the rest of class.

So today Bob was like smiling at me like an idiot all through class. Do you think he likes me?

And I was like crying all today, because my teacher (in another class) switched all the seats and put this other girl with Tim. They were flirting all through class.

Was Tim doing that to make ME jealous, kind of like I made him jealous? Do both guys like me? If so who should I pick?

I need ya help! Here's my question:

There's this guy at school. He has a crush on me. I know I should be flattered but I'm not. I don't like him that way! Or even as a friend. He follows me around like a love sick puppy to all my classes! And to top it off he stalks me at lunch! He always sits next to me and it drives me INSANE! I want to tell him to please stop following me but the kid is a year younger then me so he easily comes to conclusions like, oh she hates me ect. How do I tell him that I just want to sit with my girl friends?

Omg thats so great!!! What kind if dance r u doing?? Yeah I love school football games 2. I go to high school ones cuz my middle school doesn't have a football team. But theyres start in the fall. Oh I'm so srry!!!! Uhh I'm kinda excited n kinda nervous. I want 2 make new friends cuz alot of my friends are not acting like I thought they did so I'd like 2 make new ones. And my friend asks me to be her gym buddy when schoo starts. I sed yes but I didn t no what exacty that was so I have to get a membership to that gym but it costs alot of money cuz my mom goes there n she sed we were gonna be walking there and back n it's on main road n I'm not aloud to do that n I haven't told my parents yet about it n I'm afraid she gonna b mad cuz she's gettin all excited bout it.
