Talk to the others and say you're considering changing the date and would the alternative work better. Take a poll of who can do it on those two days and pick the one with the bigger turnout. Sometimes it's tough planning a party when it seems that no one can make it, but you'll have a great time anyway! Best,

How do I bring up to my mom that I want to get a lip piercing? I'm 14, but there are 10 year-olds that I've seen get them, so plz don't tell me I'm too young. I'm familiar with the procedure because I have been watching videos and reading up on them. I recognize the risks of infection, swelling, etc. and I will be careful with cleaning and aftercare. I really want one, so PLZ HELP!

 

Those 10 year olds are too young. I still think you are too (keep in mind that this is permanent and not something that fades with your teenage years). I don't agree with the decision, but you've done the research and I think your mom will respect that. Explain all this to your mom and see how she reacts. Best,

Um, hi! I need some help. See, I've been dancing since I was three, but lately I haven't been finding it as much fun as I used to. And I still want to be able to play some sports other than dance, but if I miss too many ballet classes I won't be able to go on pointe. Eventually I am going to have to pick one over the other. I just don't know what to do. Please help.

 

 Youre right, girl. You're gonna have to pick one eventually. If you think you can handle it, maybe keep up the dance classes and try out some other activities. Tag along with your friends to their activities and see if they interest you more. I suggest taking an entire class for the new activity before making the decision but in the end, you need to decide if pointe is what you even want. You have to pick one, but not now. Try out your options for now. best,

Hey Miliana! What's up? I have a big problem. So my parents are divorced and my mom doesn't like to date (thank god) But of course my dad has this girlfriend and she is really, idk, embarrasing. She walks to pick me up at school with my dad in short shorts and high heels and all my friends ask me who she is and I just don't like her too much. So she has a MySpace and on her MySpace it says shes engaged. AND she has a diamond ring on, AND my dad told 2 people that this is his fiance but he laughed. So after my mom picked me up and I knew she was gone, I texted my dad and asked them is it true. He wrote back, "No Sweety" and that was that. I still have 2nd thoughts on it. I don't think he'd lie to me and I just wanna know the truth. But if I asked him in person I am scared he will be like you all ready asked me that! and stuff like that!! Hellpp!!! Hey Lauren, It seems like she was just really eager to be a part of your lives. I think that was a little more than your dad was looking for. Whether they're still together or not, I'm not sure. But your dad could be trying to spare your feelings. I don't think he will get annoyed if you ask again. Just ask why she doesn't pick you up at school anymore. You've got two parents that care for you this much and I believe this will all work out. Best,

If youre talented, you dont need to be famous. Also, if youre famous, youre not necessarily talented. Keep at it because you love performing and because you truly are amazing and talented. MOD MOD MOD!!!! i have really good friends but i fell like they never invite me 2 things. they like to spend a lot of money when they hang out, such as going 2 the mall, going to concerts or going 2 water parks. when i hang out with them, i just invite them to my house or go 2 the pool down the street. i'm really careful about spending money and my friends just don't get that. its not that i don't have money-i do, but i like 2 spend it on things i need and my parents r the same. because of this, i think im drifting away from my friends. got any advice???

 

Hey girl, that's totally understandable and so I think you should first try to send subtle hints and invite those friends to do inexpensive activities more frequently. If they don't get the message, just tell them straight out. You have nothing to be embarrassed about because you prefer to spend money wisely. And if they won't budge, then say you'll hang out with them once a week and chill with other friends at your house and theirs the rest of the time. Best, Miliana

MOD MOD MOD! i have a pimple problem and i wash my face and put moisturizer on my face and i use concealer that is supposed to heal the pimple and i have used Clearasil and Proactive and ZapZyt but it hasn't worked at all! i also have tried all the home remedies it doesn't work and i tried not to touch my face either but it doesn't work! how do i get rid of pimples without a dermatologist. and are a lot a pimples normal for an 11 year old girl? please help!

 

Hey girl! Yeah, pimple probs are pretty normal. If none of those are working though, you might trying see a derm. They can tell you more about your specific condition and how to solve your prob!

Ok well,I met this guy over the summer, and I really like him. He goes to the same school as me but he is a grade ahead of me. We got along perfect during the summer, and we flirted A LOT!!!! But, the other day I walked by him and he didn't even say hi. He was with his friends. But I saw him look at me. i hav a little situation: my friend is a BIG bragger. she brags about her grades, guys, her looks, and just about everything! most of the time i try to ignore it but sometimes it goes too far. in a recent example, last week i went dress shopping w/ her for homecoming. we were looking at the dresses then i found one that i really liked i thought it would look nice on her so i showed it to her. she said tht it was alright but not tht nice but she brought tht dress in the end anyways. the next day in school she was telling everyone tht she had found the perfect dress for herself nd tht it looked beautiful nd how she was happy tht she found it all by herself. nd she was showing one of our friends a pic of her wearing it "dont i look beautiful? im sooo glad i got this dress! arent i soo smart!" she said. you get the picture. i felt really bad tht she took credit for what i did nd i felt annoyed by how she ALWAYS brags about her grades nd looks. (shes a good student but not amazingly beautiful as she says) wat can i do about this constant bragging? (im sorry this is a long message!) id appreciate some advice plz! Smile

 

I know the feeling, girl, and I think some girls love to talk about themselves because if they're so busy doing that they don't have time to stop and think that maybe everything isn't perfect, ya know? We are really awesome friends and he's sweet, funny, and is like perfect (its on my "perfect prince charming" thing lol) I'm so sad, though, because he lives in a different city and all and i don't get to see him that often. We were going to go to Knott's Scary Farm for Halloween with a big group of friends, but i don't want just that! I'm feeling super clingy and were both almost always in the mood to see eachother. Do you kno some fun things we might be able to do (in a group of course) during winter break? Hey girl, long distance relationships are tough, even if it's not that far of a distance. Youre not being clingy but def tell him how you feel about this distance. And the scary farm sounds like a good start. Over break, you could maybe head to an indoor ice skating rink or just chill and watch movies together.
