Hi, I had some advice for you! I read this question: "i am really sad because the guy that i really liked (i thought he liked me too) asked out my FRIEND! and she said yes. how do i deal with this?" and I think I can help. Here goes!
I would recommend first off, talking to your friend. Maybe she had feelings for him that she never told you about. The best thing to do is to be nice to your friend AND her new boyfriend. Maybe if they break up, he will ask you out and you can date him later if you feel comfortable. Don't dwell on the fact you didn't get the guy. Obviously, he saw that your friend was awesome, just like you see your friend is awesome. Go out and distract yourself by meeting boys at dances, charity walks, camps, and other places. As for right now? Take a bubble bath, put together tons of hawt outfits and try them on, play music and dance, call people to talk, write a story, play basketball, whatever to take your mind off of the sitch.
