this is a short story of a bully

one day a girl went to the bathroom during class. the buly of the schol was wondering the halls. the girls name was melinda. she thought as she went into the bathroom the bully didnt see her. she was wrong though. or was she right? as she walked into the stall the bully walked in. before she locked the stall door the bully slammed it open and the door hit melinda in the face. her nose was broken. the bully then pushed her and she landed in the toilet. she couldnt get out and the buly was hitting her over and over. long story short. on the 11th hit, the 11 yr old girl died. her birthday was on november 11, which is 11/11.

Here's my contest entry:

This happened around 3-or was it 4?- years ago. There was a small kid, Jason, around 10 or 11, and he was considered "nerdy". I noticed at school how the "popular" kids would always pick on him, how they teased him about his hearing aid, his taped glasses, his allergies. I always felt horrible for the kid, but never did anything. Then one day, it went way too far. I saw one of the popular boys, Tyson, push Jason to the ground, defenseless. He yelled at Jason: "NOBODY LIKES YOU! IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR ALL OF US IF YOU JUST JUMPED OFF A CLIFF AND DIED!". When I saw that, all my anger started to boil up inside me. I marched right up to Tyson and said in a quiet but stern voice, "You leave this kid alone. You have no right to treat him this way. If you ever get within 10 feet of him again, you'll have me to answer to,". Tyson backed away, terrified, then ran off to his friends. From then on, Jason and I became like brother and sister. I was always there for him when he was sad, or just needed a hug. I gave him advice when he needed it and treated him like he was the greatest person ever. I've changed a kid's life...why don't you try it?

Contest****** true story too!

There was this kid in about 7th grade. He was unpopular, nerdy, and many other things. one day he was walking home carrying all his supplies from his locker. kids came over and knocked it all down. A kid across the street saw and felt bad for him. His name was Tyler. Popular, handsome, and many more. He went over there and said
"Hey, I'm sorry that happened to you."
Tyler helped him and walked home with him. years passed and Kyle ( the kid getting bullied) plus Tyler became very good friends. On graduation day, Kyler told Tyler that on the day he was walking home with all his locker stuff (i loved dis part), he was gonna kill himself. When Tyler heard this he was so shocked. He just realized that by picking up books, he saved a life.

lol that's awesome! my school has week's like that where we wear certain clothes. Snow tubing sounds fun! And yes I have seen the new iPad. It would be awesome if I could have one, but it's too expensive! my brother is an Apple freak so I always know what new stuff they have out. Okay, if it were me, I'd just do other things to get my mind off of it. Go to the movies with your BFFs, visit the mall with your mom, something along those lines to help keep your mind off of things. If you believe in heaven, just think one day, you'll be up there with her!! Don't totally forget all about her though. Just give it time.

That is a great idea to go semi-veg! I used this method too. Just eat a little bit a day and then less and less. Or, go without one type at a time. For example, go without beef and then go without pork, then chicken. When I first became vegetarian, my parents laughed. They thought I was kidding and didn't think I could do it. So, when you tell family members and friends, they may think the same. Prove them wrong! Stick with it! And, make sure that you research a lil to show your parents (and your friend that thinks it will stunt your growth) how healthy vegetarianism is and its benefits. This lifestyle does not make you a hippie! Look at all the celebs today that choose to be vegetarian! As for your sister, you don't have to like her music. She should respect your decision so tell her how you feel. And as for tofu, it doesn't have much taste so, put in sauce or mixed vegetables with rice. It is delicous! But, be aware that there are many kinds of tofu so keep trying different types until you find one you like! I also recommend veggie burgers and protien-rich foods like nuts and beans.

eek! haha that would get super annoying! Either this guy seriously likes you or he just feels totally threatened by your awesomeness! Clearly, your good at a lot of things and have a lot to be thankful for. When you talk about your cousins or make it into the talent show, he may try to upstage you because he feels insecure about his own life. So don't be so quick to judge him. His life may not be as good as yours so he may just be trying to reassure himself. If he keeps doing it though, you could always just tell him that it seems like he's always trying to upstage you and ask him why. Good luck!
