If you're feeling really brave you could ask something like "Wanna go skating this weekend?" or maybe ask if he wants to see that movie that just came out. As for the shy part, its probably just his personality. Since you said he isn't shy around you, try hanging out in a small group- one of his friends, one of your friends, you and him. Going to see a movie and then going for dinner would be a great way to try to get him to loosen up. Happy holidays girlie!

Hey there! Glee is the most awesome show ever!!!! I highly recommend you to watch it!!! It is on Tuesday night on Fox channel and it shows at a different time depending on where you live. Where I live, it's on at 7:00.
