Hi! I noticed your comment on how you wanted to play a sport that you could do alone sometimes, yet also play on a team with. You also mentioned wanting to work your core muscles. I think that volleyball is the perfect sport for you! You can practice things such as serving, passing, and setting alone at home with no problem, and then you play on a team during games. Volleyball is ALL about your core muscles. I don't know if you've seen girls get in "ready position", (Google it if you haven't), but it takes a lot of strength and flexibility to get that low and stay that low, and it works your core by holding that position. Most of the game of volleyball is played with your legs, but it takes core strength to keep them consistant. And once you become a more advanced player, overhand serves and hits (spikes) rely on core muscles to hit the ball hard enough. I hope this helped, and if you have any Qs, feel free to note me on my profile. BTW, I've been playing volleyball for 2 years.
