You sound like you've been pretty busy! I've been pretty good. Sophomore year is a lot tougher than freshman year, but still kinda fun. Except for Chem because of my teacher :/ She's terrible! Other than that, I haven't done much either.

That's not fair of the school all kids should get an equal opportunity to get in though your upper class man should be favored since they have less time at the school. Just try something else until then, or you can pursue the school issue and maybe make a difference. (Also you can find places to perform (or other activities) out of school) bummer about the Valentine thing, yeah Valentine is that one holiday that makes people feel more alone then they actually are.;)
So what instrument do you play? Or were you singing for your school's musical?

I'm going to an online school now. Why? My parents believe it is easier for me because, at the school I was going to my grades all sucked. I haven't seen any of my friends since I left my other school which was last month. Good thing is, I have good grades, can wake up later then most kids, I don't have to go through 9 hours of starving myself because I forget to bring money or snacks, I can wear what I want, I can go to the bathroom whenever, I can watch T.V. and text whenever I want, etc.
Bad things: lack of communication with anyone, I'm holed up in my house all the time, I can't go any where with out permission, I never have time to hang out with friends, my only communication with my friends is through text and face book, I don't get to date and wouldn't dare go out with a guy since my mom would have to drive, and it's easier to get behind in this school, etc.

Hey peachbreez, (btw, luv the username!) I'm sorry to say I have NO idea why this guy is acting like this. You should try to start a casual face to face convo with him and see if he acts weird. If he does, just ask him what's up and see how he responds. Most likely, a guy would just tell you rather than being all "nuthin..." So yeah, let me know how things go! And if he still acts weird, just forget about him and find a guy who treats you better! Good Luck!

Hey, pageantprincess411! I saw that you posted on one of the advice columns that u will give advice ASAP! and i cud really use some right now. So this guy at my school told me he likes me (we are texting) and i do too, so i texted back saying i did too. we were friends but didnt know each other that well so we started to text and talk at school a lot but for some reason he just stopped texting me out of nowhere and hardly talks to me in person, but in FCA ( aclub at school), he stared at me the whole time! i see him looking at me a lot and rarely talks to me anymore. lmfao cant yoou work on both. and sounds like fun. its totally awesome being oldest at my school so it totally rocks. im hvaing a blast, and my hockey team is toatlly awesome too. my guy friends are funny as ever and the chicas in my grade are basically all the same so its coolies.
and my first dance is october 1 i hope i dont have hockey. lol. sorry i havent replyd in awhile, school and stuff. ttyl

Tip of the Day: Fashion
Ah, summer, and that one pair of short-shorts that never seem to make it through fall. That is now a non-issue, because I have mastered ways to incorporate shorts into your fall wardrobe.

While It's Still Fairly Warm:
Wear a cute, slouchy long sleeved shirt or a baggy sweatshirt. Style your hair into a messy updo. Pair with flip-flops (for a casual look), converse (for a sporty look), flats or even heels (for a dressy/girly look). Add a few accessories like a fierce anklet (which totally works with shorts) a fab earrings.

When The Leaves Change Colors, Cooler Weather:
Pair your shorts with bright and funky leggings. Wear with a longer length top. If it's fairly cold outside, add a bulky yet chic scarf and a cute bracelet. Throw on a pair of Uggs and your good to go!

Tip of the Day: Hair
Have a curling iron? Sick of the same tight curls? It's actually really simple to get loose Taylor Swift inspired curls. Instead of using the clamp on your iron, just wind your hair around the iron and hold for a few seconds, and welah! A totally cute new curl! Perfect for any occasion! Just make sure to use a heat protection spritz so you won't damage your hair!

Hey!
I saw you needed help with your height of your jumps. I was the exact same way with my toe touches! Here's some things you can try:
1. Really plie (bend your legs) before your jump so you'll spring up.
2. Find a sturdy item thats about a foot off the ground and practice jumping up onto that. (Make sure there is NOTHING that you could fall into behind you!)
3. Practice on a trampoline

Hey Girl!!! I saw your comment on how you want to go higher on your jumps for cheerleading well i have that problem to cuz i also hav long legs the best thing you can do is hav more momentome in your legs and espcially your jump!! the more energy you put into the jump the better it is also try to strect out your body instead of cramming it up then you will definately go higher!! hope this helps comment on my profile how you do!!!

You'll be fine! haha Highschool really isn't that bad. Most of the time the older kids are nice and teachers understand that this is new to you. I've been really busy this summer so I wish I had like another week to just relax before school starts. I feel like I'm rushing back into school and I haven't even gotten a break since last year.

Tip of the Day: School
As a new school year approaches, you may want to "reinvent yourself". This can be totally great, if you choose to be kinder, or to be more social, or dress differently or whatever improvements you may want to make. However, don't go and totally change yourself. Don't try to act a certain way to fit in with a certain crowd or to get attention from boys. Trust me, if your a nice, social person, then people will like you for who you truly are. So way clothes you like, listen to music you enjoy, say what you want to say, and don't worry if people fine this acceptable enough. You'll be so much happier this way.

yup, extremely catholic. we have a school mass every month and we have first communion and confirmation. our two big events. and our churuch is rite across from our school.
and who said that you cant flirt at church. its way funner to flirt at church then any place else. lol. not that i would know....
and they were everywhere. i talked to a group of five guys. they asked for my number and i was like, na i rather not get paid extra for out of country calls. lol.
then they figured out i was foreign and it was kind of awkward after so i left to go hang out with my cousins.

sounds like fun. and country clubs are huge. There open and it is very elegant. we went there for a baptism, it was too boring. we all dress up real fancy, eat gross food, and don't have any fun. we just sit around and talk. but now that were older me and my cousins sit around and gossip. so yeah, kind of excited to see the fam. ugh its tomorrow.

Omg, i watched all 4 new episodes in order for the first time yesterday, and DAAAAAAAAAANG!!!! I got my cuzin hooked on it, and we wer up txtn each other about it!!! it was soooo freakin awesome!!! and hav u seen the commercials for season 11??? I cant wait at all!!! i luvd the season finale!! im telling u, my heart literally stopped when fitz "stabbed" eli. and clare?? omg, i felt like crying with her!!! it was amazing!! and then holly j stripping was a whole other story... didnt think she would do that... but still. Tip of the Day: Fashion on a Budget
Do you invision yourself winning "Best Dressed" or rocking the hallways in adorable clothes this year? I do too, but looking good can cost a lot. Here are two ideas to get new clothes for close to nothing!

1. Go to Plato's Closet. Plato's Closet is a great thrift store that sells gently used brand name clothes for teens (mainly for girls, but some guys stuff as well.) Bring in any clothes (juniors' sizes only!), accessories, cds, books, coats, shoes, dvds, or whatever you have, and sell it to them! You get money in return, which you can then keep, or use in the store to buy some clothes they have. They have really cute clothes there too! I cleaned out my closet at the begging of summer, and made 40 dollars! You should totally check it out!

2. Another idea is to host a fashion swap party. Get your friends to bring clothes and accessories they no longer need. Figure out a fair way to trade clothes, and have a little party while doing it!
