Girl I've gone through the same deal! What works for me, is sending my best friend (Or a good friend) a request to marry me on facebook. You don't have to be "Facebook official", after all it is a complicated relation ship.

Hello! I think that you should ask him if you could go on a REAL date. Go to the movies, go on a walk etc. Try to talk to him and flirt in a very mild way. Show him who you really are. If your date goes absolutely wrong, say, "I'm sorry but I really don't think that this relationship is going to work out. I think we should break up..." Just say that! Ask one of your good friends, one that you trust a lot, to help you get less nervous when your with your guy. Ask this friend to bring up a specific topic when she's around you and your guy. Let's say sports, school, teachers, homework. Tell your friends that you don't like it when they say things like that to you, but Cause it's your first bf, ask them for help in the relationship field, but not to be intimidating. Being in a relationship can e many different things. Mostly try getting to know your boyfriend as more than a friend, learn things about him, that you wouldn't really know, try being special to him. As you get less nervous with your boyfriend try spending more time with your boyfriend but don't be too clingy. Ask your friends too, everyone's view of dating is different. Hope it helps

Pandagirl12- Talking on facebook is a good start. For your problem, try talking to him alone sometime. Have one lunchtime where it's just the two of you. Maybe having your friends there is a bit indimidating for your boyfriend. And it can get a bit annonying when friends, try to make things happen you know? Also talk to them, and if they are friends they should understand. At school try striking up the convo with him at school. If let's say he was into hockey, the next day ask him if he saw for example the blackhawks game last night. Find common interests for you to talk about. It should ease the nervousness. hey girl well sometimes feelings like this can arise in a short time. my advice is to ask him out! have confidence and tell him that you are starting to have feelings for him and that even though you cant date that it would be really cool if you guys could hang out sometime. ask him to go somewhere like the fair at your school, or hang out at lunch, or be lab partners for this semester. anything that will tell him that your interested. and if hes already into someone else? its ok! at least you told him how you feel and who knows? maybe when you guys hang out youll become really good friends in the mean time. hope this helps
