Thx! I'm obsessed with Boys Like Girls soo that's why their lyrics are my icon :] haha my friend has fake glasses she got from Claires lol. I used to want glasses before I got them in like 5th grade but they really suck. I hate how I always fall asleep with them and have a dent in my nose in the morning ;] cute icon, are those your guinea pigs???

hey i know where u cud go!i think 20 dollars are so expensive too even 10 so i go to evey store sale even melrose is an awesome place to go and the really cool cheap place to go is rue 21.if u go to the back there are usually trying to get rid of the winter clothes or summer clothes so in the corners or whatever they have $2-$12 dollar racks FULL of clothes and they r super cute last tie i went i had $15 and i got like 5-8 pieces of clothing that looked awesome on me!so yeah hope this helps!

Here's what I have so far (which exceeds the limit by 300 words! lol)


I stood there, letting raindrops land on my drenched hood, as the violent winds made the hairs on my back stand up. I was soaked wet and shivering, but I didn’t care. Crossing my arms over my chest, I looked around the empty parking lot, searching for any sign of him. I couldn’t help but worry and let the worst thoughts creep into my mind. I finally caught a glimpse of him slowly walking towards me. A rush of relief ran through me, but it was soon over when I saw the duffel bag he held in his hand.
Calm down. Everything’s fine. I kept reminding myself that nothing was wrong.
I couldn’t take it any longer, so I ran half the distance that separated us and waited for him to take the last few steps towards me.
He stood there before me, his body slightly trembling. Despite the terrible weather, I smiled at the sight of the long dark curls that were now plastered to his forehead. Just like me, he was drenched wet. His usually pale cheeks were now flushed, which made him even more irresistible. But just looking at him wasn’t enough, and so I wrapped my arms around him, making sure that he was really alright.
At first his body was stiff, but he finally relaxed and gave in, embracing me back. After what seemed like hours he said
“Desiree.” His voice was serious; a business like tone that frightened me. I ignored him, and buried my face further into his shoulder. “Desiree.” He said again, this time pulling me away from him. His touch was gentle, yet to me it felt like a slap on the face.
I looked down, not able to meet his eyes. He sighed, a long exhausted sigh. That is when I knew for sure that something was not right.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, although a part of me was terrified of finding out the answer. When he didn’t reply, I put my hand on his arm. I could’ve sworn that he flinched, before letting it stay there.
It took a great deal of courage to look into his eyes. They were not the warm brown ones that I was used to. Instead, I saw these sad and wounded ones staring back at me. My hand dropped from his arm. This was too much for me.
“Desiree, I’m leaving.” He spoke so fast, I was positive that I heard him wrong. I tried to absorb what he has just said and to say something back, instead of standing there looking like an idiot.
He beat me to it.
“I have to go.” His eyes were now cold, staring back at me. It felt like he was looking right through me, expecting me to burst into tears, or beg him not to leave.
I wish I could do any of those things, but I was too shocked to manage any sort of logical response. All I could do was whisper.
“You don’t. It’s not that bad.” I was now shaking, but not because of the cold. I couldn’t let him leave, and yet I was completely immobile. He slightly shook his head, a grim smile forming in his mouth.
“No, it is. It is that bad.” The bleak smile disappeared, but was replaced with his unfamiliar hostile eyes. “You don’t…” He wanted to say something, but then abruptly stopped. That angered me. Since when was he not able to talk to me?
“I don’t what?” I managed make my voice higher than that pathetic whisper. Almost a yell. “I don’t what?!” I repeated. My mind was all fuzzy, and I couldn’t think straight. But I knew that this was not supposed to happen. All of this fuming tension angered me even more.
“ I don’t understand?!” I yelled, my voice echoing through the vacant parking lot. “Because I understand you better than anyone else!” I could feel the hot angry tears rushing down my cheek.
He moved his hand forward, wanting to wipe them away, and for a second there I felt my heart soften. I felt like kissing his flushed cheeks, and forgetting that anything had happened in the first place. But as soon as his hand went up, he dropped it.
He stood there, his shoulders slumped, and his eyes went back to the wounded look he had one before. “I have to go.” He said, his voice even and direct. The duffel bag on the floor was soon slung over his shoulder. He took one last look at me, and then turned, quickly walking away from me. And soon after, he disappeared.
For the first time that night, I was thankful for the rain. After all, it kept my rushing tears from being seen. Even if there wasn’t anyone around.
