Hey your adopted too!!!!???? I was also in a foster home when i was little, well from the ages of 0-4. Some people just dont understand. I was put up for adoption because my parents didnt want me... but i know thats not true...kids just dont have 2 parents who refuse to love them. I see it as, they loved me so much but couldn't take care of me. So out of their love they gave me up to have a better life. What about u??? The one other thing kids at school dont understand is that being adopted isnt the same if you were born into a family. Sometimes you feel like you dont belong here. Well anyway its awsome to know theres someone i can relate 2. Leave a comment on my page if u want. Byeeeeeeeeeeee

hiya girlee .. i know you this was a while ago. But id just like to say how touching that comment/story you posted on life in a foster family was. And you are soo true in everything you said. Fair enough i dont understand the whole foster care and addoption as well as someone like yourself does but it still spoke to me xxxx Smile xxxx

I saw the comment that you posted about foster parents, and adoption and I totally agree with you when you said that sometimes if you try to tell parents about something like that, and they don't want to hear it, they block it out. I really liked your comment. I'm sorry if I don't really understand what it's like, cuz I only know someone who's adopted, and I wish I knew more about it. But I decided a few years ago that I'm going to adopt at least one kid when I get older. anyways, that comment that you posted was amazing, I wish I could meet you in real life. Smile you seem really cool. (nice profile btw)

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but your comment on the foster care article was really amazing. I, to be honest, have never spent much time thinking about foster care or adoption. The only time I have ever really thought about it was when Jaycee Lee Dugard was found and the press would not leave her alone. I'm like "She probably wants to have a normal life from now on! Why don't you let her try to make up for that. This was not really the case, but i do not get why people always feel sorry for adopted children. Most of them now have wonderful homes and families who love them, and are normal. It seems so strange about how everyone thinks that they have a strange mind and everything. I really wish you the best of luck, and I also have one piece of advice. You should work in foster care someday. I'll bet you would like it, showing the kids how you overcame it when they think that everything is hopeless. Best of wishes,

sixteengirl93, I don't have a seven year old sister. The ages of my siblings from my "adopted" (I would say "REAL")family are as follows.
Sara: 19
Me: 14
Devin: 8
Lilly: Is now 6
GabrielFrownLittle BOY, not a little girl, peeps)4
Tristan: 3

My birthfamily, well, I haven't seen any of them since I was four, so I'm not really clear on the ages.
Mel: 17 or 18
Hope: 19-20
Joy: Anywhere from 16-19
Josh: 10-13
Unity: 9 or 10
Emmanuel: 9 or 10

Oh, and thanks for the tip on gaining weight! I'll do it!
