Hi! I saw your post on the pompom bird craft things and i tried to post how to make a pompom without the loom, but it didn't let me. Maybe it will here. Wrap yarn around fingers veritally(wrapping direction) fingers are squeezed. size=#of fingers. leave loose ends to tie. tie loose ends around the yarn(though yoru fingers(it is tough)) then pull it off andcut loops at top and bottom.......you have to kinda shape it into a pompom...hope that helps;]
