Hey not to be difficult, but will you be choosing positions soon, or are you waiting for more applications? I was just curious. Thanks
kjm109 on 12/2/2011 7:42:35 PM
Hey Pondhouse! Thanks for taking the time to read my application.
1. I want to be on the Fearless Female staff because I feel that I will really be able to help people grow stronger in their walk with the Lord (including myself). As a Fearless Female staff member I would love to help girlies with their problems and post verses that make an impact on my life.
2. If I could have any position I would love to have the Vice-President, but because that position is already filled I would just really love to be on the staff in any position.
3. A verse that means a lot to me is Proverbs 18:24- A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. This verse means a lot to me because I personally struggled with this. I used to want to be part of the popular crowd, have a ton of friends, and be liked by the popular girls. I have now come to realize that, that was not God’s plan for me in life and I really need one friend, or may friends but those friends all should stick close to me as I should to them and help me not hurt me.
4. God has helped me in life in so many ways. He has led me away from people I should not be around, he leads me to people I should be around. He just does so many things that sometimes I don’t even notice it’s hard to name them. God means so much to me; he is my light, my truth, my savior, and the best thing that has ever happened to me.
5. I love to play the piano, read, write, use the computer. I also love to spend time with my family and do fun things with them.
6. Something you should know about me is I am a non-denominational Christian. And I am in high school. I am also on girlslife every day but I might not post every day if you make me an officer.
Thanks so much for considering me for a position!
kjm109 on 10/20/2011 10:25:54 PM
I'd love to be part of the Fearless Female staff.
1. I love God and have been a Christian all my life. I want to help people cope with issues, teach them about God, and pray for people.
2. I would like to be Treasurer.
3. Jeremiah 29:11. It gives you a prospect of life and your future and speaks that God really loves you and knows your life plan.
4. God has answered all my prayers and healed me when I've been hurt. He is my soul.
5. I run cross country, hang out with friends, attend worship activities.
6. I also go to church every weekend and go to a Christian school. God means so much to me.
GirlyGirl4455 on 10/19/2011 5:04:13 PM
Hi If there are any positions open in Fearless Females I would love to be one. Why? I want to help people learn more about the Lord. I want to help the people with there problems and let them know the Lord is with them.

Hi, I just wanted to say you are a true inspiration to me, you admit that you are not perfect and all you want to do is help and pray for people.
Well I also wanted to post my favorite bible verse and what it means to me...
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart do not lean onto your own understanding. Seek him in all you do and he will show you what path to take."
This verse tells me that when I am having a bad one that he is the first one I should go to about my problem is him and he will do something about it.
Thank you for reading this and I would love to receive questions or comments from people.
God Bless You! <3

figured all the ones you chose weren't Catholic lol just goes to show
*Sigh* on 5/19/2011 4:58:11 PM
I have a prayer request. I have 2 friends that in my opinion dont know God, and I am pretty sure they don't, 99.9% sure. One says their Catholic, but she believe in the bing-bang theory, until I told her that isn't correct, then she automatically believed me, to me, it isnt belief, its knowing God, so please pray for that particular girl.
My other friend is a really close friend. We have been BFFs since 3rd grade and we are in 7th. I was just Instant messaging her and she was talking about the guy she kinda liked, and the guy she likes had a little arguement in science class today. But, this guys always says the next day he's joking, and that annoys me, and he is also very mean and insults people behind there back, especially people who have it all, or stand out. It makes me very angry, my friend says thats what makes a human and thats ok...and to me it isnt! And well really I cant say it all or it would be way bigger than it already is! (Lol) And well my BFF didnt care, and that scares me, when she gets older, she will be dating and i dont want anything going down the wrong road, and I DONT want that happening! So yea, just please pray, its a lot to explain! Thanks!
MusicTaughtMeHowToLive on 5/14/2011 12:46:07 AM
i saw your post on a mother's day article and was very dissapointed. i understand that you are a very religous person but to most people happiness is the key to life. you could figure out you had a passion for something you never expected and make a living out of it. the n u would make a living out if doing what you loved. so i beleive that even though some christian people think that "god" comes first, happiness should be on there priority list too
isyrocks on 5/8/2011 8:04:32 PM
#1: VP!(well, anything, but I want vp the most)
#2 As a staff member I would like to help people on GL see the beauty of christianity (i am catholic christian, just so you know) and help them understand it better. I want them to see how beautiful church can be and help them understamd mass and this religion. dWhy we do things, and how we do things(I am an altar server so I have to know this stuff, so I got the right info here)
#3 So Yep, I am Catholic Christian
#4 My streangth with God is that I practice and believe. I teach religion one day, go to religion another, and go to church every sunday. I always try, and a priest at my church has really opened my eyes to God. I pray all the time. My weakness is around my parents, that I don't always "honnor my mother and father" and I am ashamed of that
#4 (a second one?) ok I am 14-16
#5 I am always talking about church. I love going, I spend 3/ 7 days a week there. I play piano and clarinet, I am a straight a student and I am always striving to be my best. I am very understanding, my friends tell me I should be an advice columist when I grow up instead of an electrical engineer, because I am constantly helping them solve issues and help end friend wars. I am not afraid to speak my mind, as long as it is well intentioned and not rude. I have a bit of a temper with my family at times I am already trying to convince some of my friends to go to church more often and pay attention during religion classes so they can see the true beauty of Christianity. Church is my life, and if I ever need to ask a question about my faith, the priests at my church are always there to answer. I am in good relation with them because not only do I want to know God, but I want to serve him. I have been an altar server since I had gotten my communion in 2nd grade. so that would be...uh...6 years, still counting I could MC a mass by now! I am NCIS obsessive, if that really matters, and I have a strong faith. I hope you pick me to be a leader of our faith <3 God Bless

Hey!! I'm applying for a job in the Fearless Females Club!
#1: Shooting for VP, but I would be happy with any job!
#2: I would love to use this club to help others come closer to God, and for me to grow with God as I help others and pray for them. I want to help other girls know how to serve God everyday.
#3: I am a Protestant Christian
#4: I feel that my relationship with God is strong. I pray to him always when there are problems in my life, even in the smallest situations. I am very proud of my faith and will always try to spread God's word. I do not read my Bible as often and regularly as I would like, but it is one of my goals for this upcoming year. I also do not go to church as often as I want. I pray that God will help me in the future to yearn to learn more about him.
#5: Age 14-16
I am in 8th grade and am so excited for high school next year! I LOVE to sing and act in the school play and I am in my school chorus. I play piano and am also doing track and field. I am finishing up confirmation and it has been AMAZING! I'm getting confirmed in 2 Sundays and I can't believe how much I have grown with God this year. My favorite book of the Bible right now would have to be Revelation because it gives us a sneak peek of our future with God and also shows us His story is a new way. I LOVE God with all my heart and I know he is always watching and listening and caring for me.
Thank You for reading my application.

Hey Pondhouse! I would like to apply for a job in the Fearless Females
1. What job are you going for?
I'm going for the job of Secretary.
2. What do you want to do as a staff member of the Fearless Females?
I want to bring in more believers, over see if anyone is saying bad words, and tell people about the Bible and why God gave us the Bible.
3. What is your denomination?
I'm a christian Baptist
4. What are your strengths and weaknesses with God?
Well, honestly, I know that I don't read God's love letter to us (the Bible) enough. I really wish that I could also memorize more scriptures! I need to praise God more, but I'm glad that I'm saved and baptized (You guys helped me with both ).
5. What age range are you in?
11-13 (I'm 11 but mature for my age)
6. WARNING: This is going to be long.
WELL..... My favorite book of the Bible is Esther. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to write and read. I get A's (with an occasional B). I am in the chior at my school, and the spring musical(which performs next week)! I know the true meaning of all of the religious holidays (Easter is not just about the Easter Bunny!) I love AWANAs! I just got baptized on March 13th. I'm a nice, understanding, goofy friend. My nieghbor, Sam, says ,"Heather is a good friend. I could totally see her being a big part of the nations." (No lie, my nieghbor is standing behind my sholder saying this!)
Overall, I would love to help you and be your right hand woman!
Thanks a Ton!!!
God Bless You,
heather99 on 4/23/2011 5:47:00 PM

My weaknesses, i don't go to church enough, i sin a lot, i think of myself first too much
About Me: well, im kind of nerdy. I love the ocean and the outdoors, but im not really athletic or popular. I get good grades and love reading and hope to be a writer someday. I'm in 7th grade
crowellgirl2 on 4/22/2011 9:11:42 PM
#1: What job are you going for?
I would be happy with any job!
#2: What do you want to do as a Fearless Females Staff Member?
I want to find as many ways as possible to tell people about Jesus and how they can be saved. I also want to encourage as many people as possible in their walk with Christ.
#3: What is your denomination?
I am a Christian (I excepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior).
#4: What are your strengths and weaknesses in your relationship with God?
I am very solid in my relationship with God, and I stick up for Him whenever people put Him down. In a little less than two weeks I have to get surgery on my back, so right now I am struggling with seeing the big picture. I know that God is using this experience to teach me how to trust in Him more and to learn how to keep satan's lies out of my heart, but I don't know what whole purpose of this is other than that. So, since I'm obviously human, I'm having a hard time not being able to know everything. It's like hanging on by a thread and not knowing what to do nxt.
#4: Age range?
5: Tell me a bit about you.
I love to sing, dance, play the guitar, read, and write. I have made high honors (straight A's) every quarter this school year so far. I love going to this middle school youth group at my Church called Riot. I would be great at any position because I am great at encouraging people in their relationship with Christ and telling them about how to be saved.
pebo11 on 4/20/2011 9:05:53 AM
#1: What job are you going for?
I am going for Secretary, but I will most certainly be any other position!
#2: What do you want to do as a Staff Member?
I want to serve Jesus and be able to help others by praying for them through their rough times.
#3: What is your denomination?
I am a Lutheran Christian.
#4 What is your strength/weakness with your relationship with God?
My strengths: I go to Church once, sometimes twice a week. I pray every day for not only my own problems, but others as well. I am always very honest with him as well.
My weaknesses: I don't read the bible all the time, and I do sin.
#5: Age Range?
11 - 13
I am in the 7th grade. I love traveling to new places, and I love animals. I adore hanging out with my friends and family. I volunteer at the animal shelter. Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite bible verses.

#1: What job are you going for?
I am going for VP, but if I cant get VP, then any position is fine
#2: What do you want to do as a Staff Member?
As a Fearless Female Staff member....I want to help girls get closer to God and know the true meaning of God and the amazing things he has done for us! I also want to help girls who dont know Christ as their Savior and help them understand God and help them on any questions they have abut him! Another thing I want to do is give daily devotionals/verses that can help us in any struggle!
#3 What is your denomination?
I am a Baptist Christian.
#4 What is your strength/weakness with your relationship with God?
My strengths in my relationship with God is that I pray for situations that I cannot do alone and he takes care of them, and my relationship with God is always honest and I can tell him anything! I also know that when I ask for forgiveness, he forgives me and lets me start over! My weaknesses is that I dont read the bible daily, I use his name in vain, and that I sin...like every human on this planet. And one other strength is that I know when I pray, God is always their listening!
#5: Age Range?
I am in 7th grade and I enjoy the hobbies of track, cross country, scrapbooking, emailing, hanging with friends, babysitting, and sleeping ! My favorite food is seafood and fruit (Not together). My fav classes is World History, gym, and Pre-Algerbra. 3 words that people describe me as is: Funny/fun, pretty, and bubbly!!
Thank you for reading my application!!

I always offer whatever little thing I suffer for for God. I understand if you don't make me anything but I'll give it my best shot!

GBTTB #9: You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor
This one confused me at first, but then I realized just what it meant. It means that you shouldn’t lie about people. Posting the blame on someone else for something you did or telling someone something untrue about someone else to make you look better are some basic example. But the most common way to break this testament is by gossiping. So I’m going to take this opportunity to discuss gossip. Gossip can easily make its way to anyone, and if the victim hears about it, it can really damage them, whether or not they show it. Not only is spreading rumors bad, but listening to them is to. When you listen to rumors, you are sending a message that it doesn’t bother you when people talk behind others backs. Remember, by being a Christ-follower, we have to set an example for others. I CHALLENGE YOU to stop the gossiping. To help you stop gossiping, ask a friend to stop you if you start. Try doing the same for them. It's not as scary to say no as it seems. Or, you can try changing the subject or throwing in something nice about the person their discussing. If that doesn't work, just walk away. You friends will respect your decision, and if they don’t, they probably aren’t the kind of friends you should have.
Did this help you? Think there’s more to say? Post it here!
pondhouse on 3/9/2011 8:42:13 PM
hey- i just wanted to say that i think it's really cool that this is a christian club. o and kinda random but melody carlson writes really good christian books that address a lot of issues for girls our age.

Sorry it took so long for me to answer back.
I used to go to AWANA when I was younger, but the verses I posted on your profile I found one night when I was reading the bible. I'm sorry I don't remember the book and chapter. Probably should get into the habit of doing so.
I also want to say that I think it's great what you are doing and I'm glad I have somewhere to go if i need to talk about God and that sort of stuff, especially since I've been trying to get closer to him. Those verses help me to remember why a relationship with God is so importatnt to me.
realchk on 3/9/2011 5:22:14 PM
Pardon me if I sound rude, but could people stop saying stuff about only Catholics? I'm not Catholic at all, and don't plan to become one. I am Methodist but go to an Episcopal church. Really, there's no difference, except you should NOT drink ANY alchocol in church no matter what, and that there should be no drinking and/or gambling on holy days. Also, anybody can become a saint without any special ceremony, and that you can divorce/marry whomever you like.
Also, on Jewish people: It's not bad at all that there are Jewish people that you are dating or are being friends with. Ahem, if you remember, Jewish people actually came first and were referred to as "God's people", so they are pretty much the same as us. At the very least, we are exactly equal. Two of my friends are Jewish, and I hold nothing against them, and neither should anyone else because they are hundreds of years older than us (their religion anyways) and it is Ok to date them. It is also OK to date anybody of any religion (basically I have no idea who any of my friend's religions are, just saying!).

I'll definitely try that. Thanks!!

Hey, I just wanted to know if you have any advice for me. I've been going to church every Sunday since I was 3 and I pray almost every day, but lately I've been finding it harder to believe in God. I used to be really close to him, but he's stopped answering my prayers, and now I'm thinking "What if he's not real?? What if the Bible is all made up??" If you have any advice or God stories that will help me believe in him a little more, can you post them on my profile?? Any other girls that want to help, please do so thanks a bunch!! You're in my prayers <3

The next night I told my Dad about it, and he said that I got saved and he made me call my Grandparents and everything, and now my Grandparent are coming all the way from Missiouri to Illinois to see me get baptized! My Grandpa even is goignt o skip preaching at the church that he works at to come see me!!!!!
I just had to tell someone because we're not allowed to talk about church related things at school, so I'm telling you, even if its a little late!!!!
YAY YAY YAY!!!!!

GBTTB #8: You shall not steal
Okay, so I kinda skipped the seventh commandment (and accidentally named the last one #5 instead of #6 oops!), but the seventh one was “You shall not commit adultery”, and most of us are a little too young to break that one, so we will just move on to commandment #8. So I bet you all know that stealing is wrong, but I don’t think all of us understand what counts as stealing. Stealing can be things like shoplifting, downloading songs and shows for free off the internet, “borrowing” something without asking (even if you return it), using your parent’s money without their knowledge, or even stealing away God’s time with you. Stealing is more than taking an item from a shop. You can steal a lot of things and not even understand what you are doing. I CHALLENGE YOU to watch what you do, and make sure you aren’t stealing. If you are unsure of whether or not it is stealing, go with your gut, or ask your Fearless Females.
Did this help you? Think there’s more to say? Post it here!
