oh sorry i forgot that you're also shy!
make sure u memorize your lyrics so you won't mess up.
Be confident! Instead of repeating "i can't do this" before you sing in your head say "I CAN do this!" to yourself. think positive!
Work your way up!
Sing quietly(like whispering or just lip sink) to yourself where ever u are! even if it's at the grocery store with your mom. this will get u use to singing anytime.
Even though this may sound weird but it does work, sing to yourself in the mirror! Then maybe after a while you could just try singing to your family, then your BFF, then maybe u could try pushing yourself to start that band again! You can do it! You have a great talent don't hide it! let others see it

lol i already answered your problem on MY profile a LOOONG while ago i answered it the day u posted it on my profile (Becuz your account wasn't visible yet) so now i'm just realizing your account is now visible so i'll repost my advice 4 u here (copied and pasted it from my account since i already answered it there) so here was my reply from me 2 u keep askin me 4 advice if u need more help. This is what it said

It's great how u finally found guy you're interested in and would luv to go out with! But you'll be dealing with a long distance relationship so it may get difficult at times. since he's just visiting his aunt. Why don't you go over to greet him, get to know him, show him around the neighbourhood, and strike up convos with while he's still here, maybe you could even add a bit of flirtin along the way ;) And before he leaves you could try to get his phone number, address (to send him a letter), facebook, etc. to keep in touch with him. Make sure your parents meet him at least once (just in case he asks you out!) If you don't get the guy it's ok you can still continue to be friends and there are tons of other guys out there! Oh yeah, and those other jerks in your neighbourhood they're not worth your time. Hopefully this helps! Make sure to tell me how it goes with him! and ask me again if you need any other advice
