Hey girl I saw that post you made about how your parents think that sports and extra - curriculars are a waste of time. But one thing you could tell them to convince them otherwise is to tell them that when colleges are looking at your applications, they don't just look at your grades. I've heard it from the people that do that job themselves, and they say you have a better chance of getting in if you are well-rounded, and have sports, band, chorus, extra-curricular activities, anything like that. If they think it will help you get into college, maybe they will start to see your side of the story here too.
