Hey, girlie! I saw your comment about anorexia and I really though I should help you out. You do sound like you have an eating disorder. Anorexia is when someone thinks of themselves as overweight, even when they really aren't! This may be due to self-esteem issues or wanting to become "beautiful" like a model in a magazine (but always remember, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, no matter who you are). Consequently, they will purposely starve themselves or severely limit their intake of food. However, some people don't even know they have an eating disorder, which is exactly what used to happen to me. If you think you have anorexia, please tell someone about it. If you don't want to tell your parents, talk to a school councilor or another adult you trust. You can also call 1-800-931-2237 Monday thru Friday (or any other eating disorder association), which will connect you to the National Eating Disorders Association. Any type of eating disorder can make you extremely sick; there are also many long-term affects. You may not want to tell someone, but it could end up worse for you if you don't. You should see a doctor so he or she can determine if you need to lose weight; a doctor can put you on a HEALTHY plan that doesn't include having to starve yourself. Hope this helps! If you need anyone to talk to, you can always come to me.

hey, i saw your prob. and im here to help. first off, its really good that you recognize there's a problem. the people who die and get really sick from anorexia are the people who are in denial about it and tell themselves nothings wrong. I'm in the same boat. My doctor said that im a healthy weight, that this is my "body type", but I still feel like a fat blob. It doesn't help that all my friends are sticks, but i really like food. What im doing is just exercising more and make yourself eat. Eat fruits and healthy stuff (guilt free! ) if you cant make yourself eat anything else, and exercise as much as possible-- it makes me feel a lot healthier and less fat, even if theres not a visible change. if you just cant eat, you have to tell someone. talk to me!! and join my club, Club Forever... more info on my profile. im praying for you!! <3, Gen

***PLEASE HELP!!! I think I may be anorexic. For a while, I had been terrified of food, and would try to eat as little as possible, because I wanted to lose weight... I was so fat, but everyone told me I was healthy, maybe even a bit too thin. People even said I was anorexic... I am terrified of aging weight. I eat as little as I can and skip meals, so I can be thin. I'm supposedly a "healthy weight" but I think (and know!)I am really really overweight! I'm fat and disgusting. I denied it for a long time... I told some friends that I think I'm anorexic... They're shocked, but kind of suspected it. Wat can I do. I can't tell family... They'd be so ashamed... And I would be in HUGE trouble.... Does it sound like I'm anorexic and way can I do?! Please help! Thank you so so so much!!!!!!!
