1) Hey! It's my first year at a new school too, and I KNOW how tough it can be to make new friends. I know everyone says this, but seriously, just be yourself!! If you see someone that might be standing off to the side, go up and say hey! Ask them if they're having fun, where they got their shoes, ect. Random things like that make people feel more comfortable. If you look like you're having fun (Don't fake it!), chances are, they will too! Don't be afraid! After all, they're just people

2) To tell ya the truth, I LOVE SKINNY JEANS!! They're sooo fabulous. I would wear them all the time if I didn't have this stupid uniform But unfortunately, as hot as they are, they might not be totally appropriate for a dance. Try something from XXI Forever or ROSS. Check the clearance racks at Macy's and JCPenny for pretty little evening dresses (a bit fancier than jeans, but not as formal as a prom gown or anything like that). Try a bunch of things on nd take pics. Look at them later with a friend and figure out what looks best on you. Don't buy anything you don't absolutely love! And remember, you'll look FABULOUS!
