Hey! About your friend since third grade, I think you should politely tell her that you can't be friends with someone who half the time acts like she's your best friend, and the rest of the time says mean things to you. Tell her all of this in person. Doing it over text, phone, Facebook, e-mail etc. would come across as extremely rude. Say, "Look, I know you really want to be friends with me, but I'm really tired of how half the time you act like my best friend and the other half, you are really mean and nasty to me. I have a group of other friends who treat me better than that, and I really don't want to put myself through your changing attitude towards me anymore." Tell her that maybe if she can prove to you that she will be a good friend, you can become friends again after a break. But only tell her that if you mean it! If you're tired of giving her all these chances, tell her that. About your ex-friend, if you don't want to be her friend, just say, "I'm really sorry, but last time we were friends, we didn't really get along all that well. I've forgiven you for the way you treated me, but I don't want to put myself through that again." Good luck! I'm sure everything will work out OK. Im sorry to tell you, but I don't think that Kelly is a true friend. It sounds like she gets mad at little things. But, could something be bothering her?

Go to a private place and talk to her. Ask her why she feels jealous, and ask her if there's something bothering her. Since it makes you feel uncomfortable when she talks about sex, be honest and tell her that you would like her to stop. Of Kelly is a true friend, she will understand, and try to make an effort to make your friendship work. If not, she's not worth keeping, and you should tell her you need a break.

Tell Kelly that you think you and her need a little space. But beware, she might get jealous or mad again. If she does, be nice, but try to keep your distance.

Hey Sam, Nikki here for advice on your sexual problem.
Advice is my thing too!
Although I'm almost 14, one of my friends in 10 as well. She has the same thing (is thinking a lot about sex, etc) and sometimes so do I. I went there too far when I was 11, so I have a few pointers.
First of all, DON'T WORRY. Everyone when they're either pre-teens or teens feel this way and think a lot about sex (or a lot of people do, at least) and it's completely normal.
Second, do you have guy friends? They can be sexual, too, and you can pick up from their behaviors. That's what happened to me, but I don't mind anymore. A lot of people have a little bit of a dirty mind!
And third, don't try to stop feelings and thoughts about sex. It's totally normal and you are free to think about anything in your own head, but you should keep your thoughts to yourself. You don't want rumors going around.

ok, this is long. Theres a guy in my neighborhood I like named Kelso, and I think (thought, i guess) that he likes me. We constantly flirt, and he teases me, which usually ends up in some arm wrestling war with each of us trying to knock each other over. He's hugged me a couple times, even, and patted me on the shoulder kinda. Oh, but he's a grade ahead of me. Then, my friend just told me that Kelso's planning on asking out another girl in his grade to the movies next week. What the heck's going on? I need help ASAP!!!
