Hey Renee! I need some advice! Lately, my best friend hasn't been acting nice. She's always full of herself, selfish, and self-centered now. I don't know what to do! Yesterday I decided to sit with one of my other friends and my best friend cried at recess because she thought I was ignoring her! I didn't want to give in because I KNOW that she and her sister always get their way whenever they cry for something they didn't get. I was texting her later and she told me, "You just have to accept the way I am because no one can change me." I know nobody's perfect, but sticking out her tongue and being so full of herself is going too far! She always wants me on the right side of her when my group of friends are having lunch, and I think that it's unfair to my other friends that she's always making everyone cramped at our table-just because she wants to sit next to me! One of my closest friends says she's falling out of the group, and I think I'm falling out of it too! What should I do?

OMG! That sounds horrible! If I were you I would've said at that moment, "Is that true?" To your friend's sister. If she talks about you behind your back that's someone that is mean that you don't want to hang around with. You should still hang out with your friend, and trust that she will stick up for you if her sis says something mean. Yet, that was kind of mean that your friend said something like that! Almost everyone says something unkind behind someone's back once in a while, but it's not fair that your friend brought it up. I think that you shouldn't stress about this, and make sure that your friend and her sis don't bring up any uncomfortable remarks. Hope that helps!

Hey girl, it's Renee, dancer1668, I'm on my club profile. So to eat healthier, try to resist eating too much junk food. Try to pick healthy snacks and sides like fruits, veggies, and while weat crackers. Hav desserts in small portions only, and only go for really fabulous desserts u luv. As for eating more veggies, try adding them to everyday foods. Hav a salad with at least 5 different colors of fruits n veggies. Add veggies to n omelet. Hey same here Renee! Even though we see each other at school, our conversations are just, "Hi" and "Bye!" So I finally have something that I need advice for! At school, we had a music competition and if we won, we would perform at the elementary schools! My friends and I have practiced a piece that my friend wrote, and the finals were today! THe teacher counted the votes in class, but the other group ended up winning. Now my friend who wrote the song is really sad and she was crying after school! I know it's hard for her, but what should I do to cheer her up? Anyways, life is good!! >w<

Hey girl! Usually I'll start randomly singing a melody that just comes to me. And I will just sing words that don't even make sense and that's how I start the song, so there I've got my melody. Then I think about an experience I've had or a friend or a boy I like, then go from there. Try thinking of something that happened or think of something your feeling and make a sentence and that goes with your melody and make up another word that rhymes with one of the words in your sentence or sometimes you don't even have to have it rhyme but the words can sound similar (example: shame and day can sound similar in a song) sometimes you don't even need music. If you do know how to play an instrument, play something random and then that could be the melody of your song, if you could put words to the melody. XOXO Layla

Hey Renee! So first make sure you remember that your mom is only being overprotective because she loves you. That said, here are a few steps to make things better for both of you. 1) set up a time for you and your mom to talk. Try this, " hey mom, I'm fine but I need to talk to you about something really important. When would be a good time for you?" make a date when you will have her undivided attention. 2) tell here how you are feeling. Let her know that you understand that she wants to know whats goin on in your life but that you need more privacy. 3) Compromise. For example, if she wants to read your diary, set up a special journal for her to read. Write down important stuff that happened each day, but not any personal things, and let her read it each week. Make sure that whenever you are out, you text her with any change in plans , or to let her know that everythig is going as planned and that you are ok. Don't lock your door too often, try to fill her in on your life a little more. If you are willing to let her into yor life just a little bit more, she should accept that ad stop trying to pry so much. Give her no reason for her to mistrust you, and she probably won't. P.S. that sitch is tough... if she acts like an angel, it can get annoying, but maybe she's doing this because she wants attention or wants to seem better to the teacher than all of the other students. if you ask her she might get mad, so try to ask her if she can stop and if she seems mad, say "EARLY APRIL FOOLS!" and then since she got mad, don't speak to her about it again, and just try to get through the class. if you need more help, come back to my profile and ask away! -Katie

Hey! Ok...well the best idea is to do it easily. Just tell her that you think it is weird how close she is to her teachers. Don't actually say that she is a teacher's pet because the name doesn't make it easier. Also, don't make it an actual conversation. Just give her little hints when she is doing it really bad. Hey Renee! There are two things you can do: 1. If you still want to be friends with her, then it's ok to! It's only if... 2. She acts like you're not there/does bad things to you THEN you should let go. If you don't feel comfortable with her, then you should let go of your friendship. You should also think about who she hangs out with. If you're going to be friends with her, then make sure she's hanging out with a nice crowd that you can join as well. If she's hanging out in a crowd that's really mean, that's another story. That means you should let go. Anyways, help this helps! :03

Well make sure it is in person...then be I love you so much...but sometimes you get mad at me and put it in a rude way. Like yelling or rolling eyes...and I like you to much as a friend to be upset about this with you...so can you please stop because it is making me feel sad. If that doesn't work or she gets mad at you more...give her cool off days. Everyone needs that once in a while. Good luck!

Hey! Ok...well don't just say no. Say that you have a lot of homework and that you are SUUUPEEERRR tired. If she is a good friend then she would be fine with letting you get some sleep and maybe a well deserved nap! You can also say that like now isn't a good time....that kind of lets her know not to ask you what's the matter...so you don't have to lie. And maybe after getting some more sleep or something or not hanging out with her more...you will want to hang out with her more! Hope this helps ya!!

Hey girlie thanks! Well if your friends are leaving you out of a conversation right in front of you, just jump right in the conversation! They may not even realize they're leaving you out or that you would be interested in what they're talking about. If you notice them doing things together and not inviting you to join in, take your best friend aside and talk to her about it. Say something like, "I've been feeling a little left out lately. It's cool that you guys are really close, but I'd like to join in sometimes too." That should do the trick. If your friends keep leaving you out, it may be time to find a new group to hang out with! Hiya Renee! So the best thing is to use a training method called "positive reinforcement". Whenever your dog does something right, you give him a treat. If he keeps barking, that means he's trying to get your attention, so the best thing is to look away. If you keep repeating "No! Don't Bark! Bad dog!" it sounds like "Woof! Woof woof! Woof woof!" To him, and he thinks you're joining in. When he finally stops, give him a treat. Keep trying this until he barks for a short amount of time, or when he doesn't bark at all! If you're walking your dog and he barks, turn the other direction he's barking at. Hope this helps! ;03
