Hey girl! Sorry, I only just now saw your comment on my profile about the verse (Proverbs 27:10). I'm not sure which version you read but here's the one I found (I think it's NIV, I don't remember) : "Never abandon a friend- either yours or your Father's." If you didn't understand it, I think it's probably because it was a different version. I hope this helped!

Hey there Girlie!
Wow! I think it's great that you want to start memorizing verses again! Here are some tips I picked up;
*pick a verse that really means something to you (if it relates to your life, you'll learn it WAY easier)
*when memorizing, say the verse OUT LOUD. its a lot more effective than saying it in your head.
*Say it over and over, then leave it alone for a bit (atleast a couple hours). Later, try to write out the verse without looking. Can you do it? If not, try and try until you get it.
*Once you have it memorized, don't forget to keep coming back to that verse and rereading it. If you don't, you'll soon forget it.
Hope that was helpful!!
