im actually not a setter (hence name vballSPIKER) but i used to be and i think the most important things to be a setter is to move to the ball, get under it, and push up. and when you push up your legs should be bent and you use all your leg muscles to get the ball up. your hands should have a triangle in the midle with your pointer finger and your thumbs... i hope this helps

i had the same problem when it came to buying my bra. this is what i did: i went to the store with my mom. when we were walking around i took a deep breath and just blurted out "mom i need to buy a bra" (trust me once you get it out into the open its not so bad) after that she was "oh sure!" and we went over and bought one. it felt really akward to me so i just grabbed one in my size and ran out. but my mom acted like it was no big deal. so its probably not a big deal with ur mom.
just say it, and youll be good. srry its so long!
