Hi, you seem really nice! Here are some of my tips about ballet (that's all I do):

1.) LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHER. Especially when she says the french words. So when she says arebesque, you're not sitting there scratching your head. When you're at the barre learning a sequence, pay attention!! I know this from experience!!

2.) Practice! When she gives you something really hard to do, it's okay if you don't get it right in class. Just go home and practice it until you perfect it, and next time you do that step, you'll be the best!

3.) Watch other girls. Sometimes, especially when you're a beginner, it will help to watch other girls do a sequence because they might get a step right that you'd get wrong! I'M NOT SAYING TO WATCH OTHER GIRLS WHILE YOU'RE DANCING OR AT THE BARRE. It will leave you even more confused!

4.) Go easy on yourself. If you screw up, just relax. You're a beginner, not a veteran. Eventually you will get the steps, sometimes what you learn takes time to click in your mind.

Other pieces of advice:
Don't forget a water bottle at practice!!
Same goes for your ballet slippers!!
Wear your hair in a bun, and if you have bangs, pin them back, or your hair will fly in your face when you are turning.

AND MOST OF ALL, HAVE FUN!! Good luck!!
