Hey girl. I just randomly came across your post from 2.5 months ago about never being able to have a boyfriend because of you ADHD. I am here to tell you that's not true. There are plenty of peolpl that have ADHD that are successful and married. (Are you thinking, well that will never be me?) Dont be so discouraged. And don't use ADHD as a crutch.
I can speak with confidence on this because I have ADHD too. It's not something I like to talk about. I try not to let it affect me. But I am scatterbrained and talk way too much too. But over time, almost everybody becomes more confident. I think I was terrible at flirting etc when I was in middle school, and even high school. But then I got to college. And things werent so scary. Now I'm not afraid to talk to anybody or even put the first moves on a guy. And honestly some people make fun of me for my crazy and out-going personality, but I try not to let it get to me. People say I talk too much etc. But I don't care. It took some time, but I have learned to love who I am. And I stopped caring about finding a bf. But actually, now there is this guy that likes me. And he likes me for exactly who I am. I can't believe it. He likes my crazy personality and doesn't look at me like 'do you ever shut up?'. Not to say my life is perfect, but hang in there and things will get better. I have learned not to expect things to happen on a specific timeline.
