i would probably stay with cell phone because like you said having to find a place with wifi would be hard unless you had it upgraded on your tv or computer to have it at home but that is expensive to

definately get the ipod touch. all of my friends are in love with it, and if you have wifi at your house or a friends house, then your good. im trying to save my money for the new one, and im not getting too far. im only up to 50 bucks so far... any tips?

Th Jaguars are rec. soccer (but they didn't lose a game all of the fall season!!). Spirit is a really cool name!! I don't really have a preference on what to play. I rarely ever practice with them anymore though Frown. i don't really have time, but I play in my backyard. I absolutely love the sport! Last season, my best friend's sister got bumped up to Bluebirds and completely skipped Classic!! (Just in case your league doesn't do exactly that, there are three levels in my league: rec/competitive, Classic, and Bluebirds. Bluebirds is the best you can get, but you almost never skip Classic and go straight to Bluebirds, unless you are REALLY good). What league do you play in?

I don't play on a soccer team, but I go and practice with my friend's team sometimes(they treat me like a player). They are the Jaguars. I used to play for this team called the Alley-Kats, but I quit because that group in the league was getting to easy for me. So yeah, right now I am not on a team. Do you play on a team? Hey, I just thought I would tell you about the iPhone thing cuz I listen to music a lot in the car and stuff, so I got an iPhone so I wouldn't have to carry around the iPod and cell phone, because I have this thing for over-the-shoulder bags that are really small! Which one do you think you will get?
I dont want to make you uncomfortable or anything, im just curious, but how old are you? I just want to know if you are the same age as me because i read your profile and we have a lot in common. Hey!! I just wanted to tell you that if you get an iPhone, get the iPhone 3G(whcihc is OK) or the 3Gs (really cool!) I wouldnt get the iPhone 4 yet because it still has a lot of problems that they need to fix!! Just thought I'd let you know!

get the ipod! there is an app where you can text your friends (wether they have a cell or an itouch) and the new ipod can call other people, and you can talk, face to face! there is obviously the internet, and email!

Hey, I read you iPod vs. Cell Phone thing and just wanted to let you know hat I thought. I think it really depends on how much you think you will use it. My friend got the iPod touch, then later got a cell phone. She texted a lot on her iPod, but she also has to pay for her own cell phone. You could try getting the iPod touch, see how well you like texting, then get a cell phone if you still want one. Or, you could pay for the iPhone, which is expensive at first but is SO worth it! Hope this helps you!

I read the cell vs. iPod debate and i have both but most phones now a days play music which is a plus and there is some pretty cheap phone companies like "pay as you go" plans and Virgin mobile and Koodo are cheap i have koodo and my plan is $15/month (50 texts+50 minutes) but i have the unlimited text add on which is $5 extra for a total of $20/month(i live in canada so i don't know if you have koodo or virgin mobile in the US)

so I have a cell phone, and it's amazing. T-Mobile may have a rep for being the "cheapy" service, but it's actually really, really good! (:
Check out their website for great deals (prepaid is bestt!!) . I pay 15 dollars a month for unlimited text, as well as only 10c a minute!!! that's really cheap. They have a great selection of phones too.

i read your post about the whole ipod cellphone thing and i would have to say get the ipod! i had an ipod wayyyy before i had a phone and i use it alot more. it more fun for road trips. and even though you can only text while you have wifi if you get the right app it totally free.

I'd get the new ipod touch, I have it and love it!! My brother jail broke it so I get tons of free apps and I use frostwire for free music, so you basically just pay for the ipod. Cell phones are nice too, but it depends on how much you want to pay each month, maybe work out something between your parents? I know AT&T has a pay as you go phones and they have you put a 25$ card on your phone every 3 months and then with that you can buy 200 texts for $5 or 1000 texts for $10.
