I saw that you said you were practically starving yourself, and I know it was already answered, but I would just like to add that if you starve yourself, your body not only starts storing fat for when it needs energy, it will eventually eat away at your fat AND muscle! You just need to eat healthy and make sure you get plenty of exercise! It will eventually become a habit of both. So try to exercise an hour a day and you will look and feel better gradually. It only works though if you stick to your goal, and if it becomes hard, just tell yourself it will all be worth it in the end!! Good Luck and Get Moving!!!

First of all; no starvation. Not only does it not work, (you think you are starving so your body's metabolism slows down and you won't lose weight because of it) you might go down the dangerous path of anerexia. Instead, you need to get healthy habits and peel the pounds off safely. Here are my tips for you:
-Eat about 1,600 calories a day. A little more or less is fine. Never go below 1200 and never above 2000.
-Eat whole grains
-Eat lean protein (chicken and fish)
-Eat low fat dairy (3x a day)
-Make healthy food choices (such as pick the veggie burger over the big mac)
- excersize 3x or more times a week (try a jillian michaels dvd for a challenge. they are kick butt hard)
