Some advice on fun workouts- if u have on demand, there are some awesome cardio dance workouts that will get ya swimsuit ready! If ya don't, jam out to your fave tunes on the radio or ipod, and dance like there's no tomorow!

Wow- tae-kwon-do? You must have a lot of muscle haha! My goal for the rest of spring- take a bike ride each day (yes- I finally got my bike and it's BEAUTIFUL!) and 50 crunches per night, starting today. Lol this'll be interesting.....

Hey girl! Ill so join you on your goal. You sound like me sorta. I want to slim down for summer to loko awesome in a bikini and maybe get a boyfriend. I'm 5'2" and I'm around 100 pounds. My mom just joined a gym, but hardly ever goes and I go with her. I do tae-kwon-do which is awesome cardio, but I reccomend swimming! Also, I really need to work on my diet. I have a huge sweet tooth, and eat tons of junky foods. So, heres to a rockin bod for summer 2010!

Man, I wish I was as lucky as you with the metabolism thing! I guess it's all genetic, though... Can't do a thing about it haha! You have any tips for working out? It's been beautiful lately, and as soon as this crazy week is over I'm going to try to get outside.

Hey, everybody! My name's Steph, and I'm inviting you to partake in my quest for greater health! I'm 14 years old, 5'3'', and weigh 111. So while I'm not overweight, I still want to tone my body for summer and feel better in my own skin. Join me! I'm gonna count on you guys for support and comments through the whole process, because daily exercise is something that is new to me. The reason I'm as healthy as I am now is because I stay very busy with participation in multiple theaters and ballet and Pointe classes. But I'm not involved in sports other than that. I'll keep sharing some information about myself as this goes on, but for now I'll tell you this.....
I'm the younger out of two children. My older sister is a freshman in college, and my best friend. My family really isn't that active, and we don't actually live in a development. That makes exercising a little trickier, to be sure.
We don't own equipment, either, except for a very old exercise bike-- I'm talking antique-- complete with severely loud screeches that sound every time I try to use it..... I'll see if I can fix.
At the moment, that's all I have. My parents have put some money down on a real bicycle for me, though. It's a beauty-- red, refurbished (from the 80s!) and set with a leather seat and basket carrier in the back; I can't wait until I get it! It'll make exercising so much more convenient, as I'm not much of a runner. But, hey, I guess that's something I can work on too... We'll see.
As for my diet, I eat pretty well. I just need to make sure I drink more calcium and reduce the amount of junk food I eat. Also, for lent I gave up meat. That means that I bought salads for lunch a good portion of the time. Even if I can eat meat now, I intend on keeping that up. So healthy, and surprisingly tasty!
My goal is to look smokin' hot in that bikini this summer, to slim down some of my curves, and to feel amazing by the time school is out. Especially because I have a boyfriend now... (Hey, we all have our reasons!)
In the process I'll share with you what I do in my beauty routine and give you any tips I pick up. I'd really appreciate it if you'd do the same for me!
I'm not sure how this will turn out, really. As we all know, it's easy to lose interest in something when you’re so busy. I'll do my best not to let that happen with my goal, though, and I'll post often.
