The president posts applications for characters and the best is put into a story. This isn't actually going to be like sent in for publishing or anything, it's just for fun!

I see that your a writer...could you help me, I'm having a serious case of writers block. First, I'll give you some backround on the story line.

Plot: A girl - Charity, she is 14 - has a brother named Nash who is her twin. Nash was just killed in a car crash when he was walking home. The whole story is mostly about her finding closure after his death. Her family starts to fall apart, she is suddenly bitter and mean to everyone etc...

The thing is...it's the night after his death and I don't know what to write next. I'm only on page 10!
Here is what has happened recently in my story. it's from the point of view of Charity.




“NASH, don’t leave me!”
The whole world started to shake.
“Charity, wake up!”
I open my eyes and my dad is standing above me.
“Relax, it was just a nightmare!” he said.
“OK, I’m fine…” I say.
Dad leaves.
I look at my clock. It reads “4:55 a.m. July 18th”.
I lay my head back down onto the pillow. My brother died yesterday. I sigh. I dig my hands under the covers.
Lay on my right side…NO! Lay on my left side…No! I kept moving around in my bed until I realized that I’m wide awake. I got up.
I walked to my door and pulled it open quietly. I walked to the kitchen and turned on the light.
I opened the refrigerator.

Holy cow girl!!I dont know how you manage it!I'm in ballet and hip-hop but my main focus is ballet I've been dancing since i was 3(around 8 years now!)and i hope to continue dancing for a loooooooooooooooonnnnnnggggg time!!How old were you when you started pointe?Most people i know start around 12 and i'll be 12 in December...but classes start in August/September...So yea I might try jazz this year but i dont know for sure,we'll see
So what are you doing this summer?

O.K they way i told you made me sound like a you know what. but im not that way. so the guy im somewhat with right now i dont feel anything with anymore. i used to dream about him, and think about him all the time. but now i dont our hugs feel to casual and when i spend time with him i dont feel special like i used to. but this new guy i like i dont want to tell him i like him or even date him (yet anyway). its just im very attracted to him. when we talk i feel special and when he taps my arm to get my attention i feel like lightening is coursing my veins. i wonder what hes doing when im by myself.but im not obsessed with him if he likes me great if he doesnt than thats just the story of my life. but i dont want the first guy to wait for me when i dont like him and he could be looking for someone else. and i dont want to play him. i still want him to be my friend so yeah thanks for your advice and do you have any more advice on how i could let him know easy. so i dont totally crush him.

okay, so there's this guy I like. We're both in 7th grade and both VERY shy. We don't have any classes together and I'm not trying to be mean, but he doesn't have many friends. He is SUPER athletic and runs really fast. We have P.E. the same period, just not the same teacher. I try to smile at him, but he doesn't seem to want to look me straight in the eye, though I've caught him a few times. We're going to different schools in 9th grade. I want too know him more, but I don't really know how to break the ice, and I'm kinda scared to. How can I talk to him without seeming nervous or making it awkward since we're both really shy? Could you please give specific examples? Thanks sooo much!!!

hey heard you do advice and i need some!
so im kind of weird and nerdy around school but generally nice person. i used to be a huge tattle tale and couldnt keep secrets, but now im sure people trust me. whenever i talk to people at school tho, they act like theyre always hiding something from me and whisper when i walk away. sometimes they even whisper when im there! im sick of being left out. how can i get them to trust me?
also another 1- i have a problem where i pull out my hair and im getting help and getting a lot better but my bf's best friend makes fun of my all the time and calls me baldy. its embarrassing and hurtful. no one else does it, just him. his mom is a teacher at our school and ive thought about telling her but that would involve telling her my prob which im not sure im comfortable with and telling her might earn back my tattletale reputation. he's really mean though and also really strong phsically so im actually worried he'll hurt me or just keep making fun of me more if i make his mom mad at him to get back at me. help!!

Keep your dream girl! If you reeeally want to, you will have cows when you grow up! I've learned that anything you set your mind to is POSSIBLE! If you want to join 4-H you can join something where you make a poster about dairy cows. They'll give you a booklet with stuff about dairy cows in it snd you make a poster! 4-H is sooo fun! I show animals and do activities like posters. I LOVE it! If you're interested the deadline where I live is March 1st! I just thought that'd be a GREAT way to start learning now There are lottsa other activities too!
