I love them too! But its a good thing I don't own him becos he eats a lot! Thats the same for me. Being at the barn everyday isn't a problem for me but the money for farrier, shots, food adds up alot. Thats true. I might do that with Riley but not so soon

Good luck at State! The musical's kinda hard to explain. It's called Tied to the Tracks. It's an old western kinda theme. Basically Melody is in love with Billy Bold but then this guy named Silias tricks her into thinking he betrayed her and cheated on her and everything, because he wants to marry her to get her money since her father was famous. I'm one of the Harvey Girls: waitress that come in and stay at the hotel Melody owns and become friends with her. It's called Tied to the Tracks because Melody literally gets tied to the tracks, but her hero unties her (Billy Bold). Again it's sorta confusing you really have to read the script.

Someday you'll get your own horse, just listen to my story.
OK so I got this pony named Carmel in 3rd grade. My mom's had horses her WHOLE life, so she got me into it. Carmel is amazing, but she has lameness problems, so I can only ride her walk/trot. For a while I just had to live with that, I couldn't move forward. I didn't have another horse to ride.
We started looking for another horses a couple years later. We ended up leasing a mare named Angel. I loved her, but she ended up being lame too-she was 20. That was last year. So this year, we set out on the horse search AGAIN. We were looking for another lease horse, because we couldn't really afford to buy another horse. The kind of horse I needed consistently sells for $5000, and our budget was $3000.
After months we found another lease horse named KC. We went to look at him and brought him home-he was amazing. I loved him already and couldn't imagine taking him home at the end of the summer when the lease would be up.
On Christmas day, I wasn't expecting much, because KC was my Christmas present. We hadn't bought him, but it's still expensive to have a horse.
I opened a box. Mom had the video camera on. It was a halter with KC's name on it. Mom said "Do you know what this means?" I shook my head no. She said "We got him for you!" I screamed my head off, didn't believe her at first. It was the craziest thing that has ever happened to me.
So, you may not expect it. But even if it's 20 years from now, you'll eventually get a horse-as long as you stay a horse person. ☺ Hope this brightens your day.
