The Kidnapping of the President 2: Innocent Part 2

“Hey! Wake up!” Kristen woke up on a cold, hard bench in a jail cell with a guy yelling at her. “Get up!” he yelled again and then shoved her to the ground. She got up off the floor and he grabbed her arms and handcuffed her again. He pulled her out of the room and dragged her to a room that had a glass wall and a chair. She noticed on the other side of the glass was the president. Maybe he will save me. I hope he doesn’t get us both in jail, she thought. He motioned her to sit down in the chair that was in middle of the room.

“You’re here for some questioning, Miss Edge,” said that guy from yesterday; the guy that slapped her across the face like ten times. She just glared at him through the glass. “That’s why Mr. Bushes is here.” He paused for a second and came into the room and stood right in front of her. He then continued. “So, let’s start from the beginning. Why were you trying to kidnap the president?”

“I told you once already. I wasn’t trying to kidnap the president. I was there with Secret Service,” she said more calmly than yesterday.

“Then how come I didn’t know you were there. Do you have any proof?” said that same annoying guy.

“Why don’t you ask Steve, the other person I was with? Or the president? They knew that I was there. Luke asked me and Steve to go!”

“Fine. We will ask this Steve guy. And Mr.
President, was she there at the ball with Secret Service?” said the guy, smartly, like he already knew the answer.

“Yes. Yes she was. I invited her and Steve to help with security,” said the president.

“Then how come I didn’t know of this? And why them? How do you even know them?” yelled the interrogator guy that she still doesn’t know the name of, angrily.

“Uh… Well, Kristen was the one who saved me last year when I got kidnapped and Steve helped her.”

“Hey. Where’s Mike? Shouldn’t he be doing this?” Kristen asked, remembering last winter and how she saved the president with Mike, the head of Secret Service, and Steve.

“He’s fine. I am just filling in for him. He is just a little sick,” said the guy. She was a little suspicious of this guy already, now she was even more suspicious. She knew Mike and he must be really sick for not being here. He was always there for the president. No matter what.

“What’s your name?” Kristen asked. She thought she might know him from before.

“I am Agent O’Brien. I know what you’re thinking. I didn’t do anything to him,” said the guy. “Anyway, Mikey won’t be doing this. I am also in charge of the president’s security so I am doing this. I think I can handle it.”

Kristen didn’t think he could handle it. She had never heard of Agent O’Brien before this. Since she was working with the FBI and Secret Service, she thought she would have met this guy before then.

“That’s what you say. You’re the one who arrested an innocent person and let the bad guys get away,” she said. Agent O’Brien laughs. “You think it’s so funny. Just get to the point already.”

“As I was saying before I got interrupted,” he glared over at her. “If she was here for Secret Service, then how come no one told me?”

“Well, I told Mike that she and Steve were coming to help with security. I guess he just didn’t tell you before he got sick,” said the president, looking very confident.

“Why wouldn’t he tell me? I in charge of your security too, you know!” said Agent O’Brien.

“I tell Mike everything,” said the president. “He must not have told you. It isn’t my fault.”

“Mr. President, as you know, I am also in charge of your security so I should know about these things. If she was really with you, I would have known,” said Agent O’Brien. “She must have told you to lie or she would kill you.”

“She didn’t…” the president started.

“No,” interrupted Agent O’Brien. “Why don’t we just finish this in court? I know you wouldn’t lie there, Mr. President. And I’ll talk to Mike before then.” He stressed the m in Mike, acting like he was in pain just saying his name.

“You’re right,” agreed the president. “I wouldn’t lie there and I’m not lying now.”

“Yeah, sure, Mr. President,” said O’Brien. He gets up in Kristen’s face as he finishes. “And you will tell the world that you kidnapped the president and you will be going to jail for the rest of your life.”

“If only that was true,” she said. She kicked him in the stomach and he said a bad word that shouldn’t be repeated.

“You’re gonna pay for this, Edge!” he screamed at her as she got up. They then started to drag her back to her cell.

The Kidnapping of the President 2: Innocent

Part 1:

“Well… Are you ready?” asked Kristen Edge’s ex-boyfriend, Steve.
“Yeah,” she said. They were standing right next to the doors. They were on a mission as Secret Service for President Luke Bushes. He was going to a ball and they were here to make sure everything goes as planned. Kristen jumped at the idea when he asked them to come.

It was now fall and the president hadn’t even called once, except last week when he asked her to come. She had been doing small jobs over the spring and summer and hadn’t seen the president since last winter when he was kidnapped.

She was wearing a beautiful, long, pink camo dress, and her dark brown hair was curled and pulled up off her neck. Steve was wearing a plan, black suit, like the Secret Service, and a camo tie. The ball was for The National Hunting and Gun Association, so they had to dress appropriately.

“Let’s go.”

They then walked through the front doors of the fancy ballroom. They were in Washington D.C. at a convention center. It had a big chandelier and there were red, white, and blue drapes and curtains decorating the room with camo tablecloths and drapes. There was a long table of food down the right wall and a small door in the opposite corner of the room.

They walked into the crowd of people to blend in. Some music started play and then the president walked in. Everyone started to clap. He was wearing almost the same outfit as all of the Secret Service: a suit but with a red, white, and blue camo tie. Then the president started to greet people and walk around.

“Would you like to dance?” Steve asked Kristen. She said yes because I had no choice; other people had started to dance and she didn’t want to be rude. It was a slow song and in case you didn’t know, Kristen is an excellent dancer. She started to show off her dancing skills with Steve. It was difficult for her to dance because of her long, puffy dress, but she didn’t care. She loved to dance.

They kept dancing after that song ended, but this time it was the tango. Well, Kristen did the tango. No comment on Steve’s dancing. Ha.

A few minutes later, after they finished dancing, a lady in a black suit walked over. “Might I have a word with you?” she asked Kristen.

“Sure,” she responded. They walked over to the table with food and got some punch.

“What a lovely partner you have there,” she said in a British accent, which she hadn’t noticed before. “I wish I had a date with a nice man like him. Or maybe the president, Mr. Luke Bushes.”

“I know. You could go ask someone to dance with you.”

“I like yours the best though,” she says and puts down the cup of punch. Then she walks away, right towards Steve. They start to dance. The lady thought she would make Kristen mad, but she didn’t care. Steve and her were over. Kristen was a little worried, though, but didn’t think too much of it then. She was too busy watching them and didn’t notice when the president walked up to her. He startled her when he said “Would you like to dance? I saw you earlier and saw how good you were.”
Of course she said yes, who would say no to the president. They walked out to the middle of the floor and started to dance. She was still concentrating on the things and people around her. She couldn’t help but watch Steve. That lady was getting dangerously too close to him and Kristen then saw something in her hand. It was a gun.
“Um, we have a bit of a problem,” Kristen said to the president moving him near the back door and motioning the Secret Service. “That lady has a….” But she didn’t get to finish.

“Excuse me, Miss. But you aren’t supposed to be back here,” said one of the Secret Service people.

“I know,” she said. “But that lady has…”

“We going to have to ask you to move,” he said again.

“It’s ok. I am an FBI agent. I am here to protect the president,” Kristen said, not moving. She still had her hand on the president. She pulled out her gun from her small bag.

“No, really its, ok,” the president told the Secret Service. “She’s with me. But that other lady, she has…”

“No, you’re not. We would have been notified if there were any more agents here,” said the guy, completely ignoring the president, and pulled out his gun. “Get her.”

Two big guys grabbed Kristen away from the president but she fought. She screamed “You don’t know what you’re doing!”

“Yes, we do. And we know what you’re trying to do, too. You’re trying to kidnap the president.” He grabbed her by the neck.

“Stop!” the president yelled.

“You’re making a big mistake. People are trying to hurt the president and I am trying to save him. You’re just making things worse,” she said. She then kneed him in the leg as hard as she could.

He grabbed his knee and used his other hand to slap her across the face and said to the guys “Take her away.”

She turned back and gave Luke a worried face and he mouthed back sorry. Then they threw her in the back of a van, with her nose bleeding from the harsh slap. The blood was dripping down onto her beautiful dress.

Once she was in the van, Kristen sat there for a few minutes, until the guy who slapped her got in. He looked at her and called her a bad word and then slapped her across the face again. She just looked at him and said “You’re going to be sorry for this.”

“Yeah, right. You are.” And that’s all they said during the whole ride. Well, for what she knew. He punched her in the face and knocked her out until she woke back up inside an empty room except for a chair. She was sitting in the chair, and was handcuffed. She wasn’t in her dress anymore. Now she was in an orange suit that prisoners wear.

That same guy was standing right in front of her. He grabbed her by the throat and asked “So, you’re finally going to wake up.” He paused and then said “Why? Why did you want to kidnap the president? You have seemed to fail miserably at it.”
“I didn’t and I wasn’t trying to. Someone else was and I was there to try to protect him.”

“I ain’t taking what you’re saying. Get her out of my face,” said the guy. Two big guys walked in and grabbed her. They drug her into a cell and threw her on the cold, hard, cement floor. They’re so nice, aren’t they? She thought. They undid her handcuffs and left.

She wiped her nose with her hand and felt the dried blood. Her arms slightly stung from being handcuffed so long.

She sat there on the cold hard bench, thinking. How could they do this? I know he couldn’t say anything. If he did, we both go to jail and loose our jobs. But, how am I supposed to get out of here. Steve. Why didn’t he say anything? He knew I was there with him. Unless, he was in it with that girl. She thought about it for a while, and then she laid down on the cold, hard bench and fell asleep.

Kristen meets back up with the president later. She walks up to him.
“Hey,” he says. She says hey back and sits down next to him. The Secret Service agent walks away, knowing he can trust Kristen. “Thanks. You saved me. If it wasn’t for you, I’d still be stuck there waiting. I might not have survived. They might have killed me. It is good to have someone like you around. Ya never know when we might need ya. I hope you’re ok.”
“Yeah, I’m fine. I should be the one asking you.”
“I’m ok. It’s only a few bruises. And a big scar, which you can’t even see when I’m wearing the suit,” says the President.
“Yeah, bye,” said Kristen. She’s about to get up when he grabs her arm. She turns and sits back down.
“Hope I don’t get in trouble for this,” he says as he pulls her close and kisses her on the lips. After a few seconds, she pulls away and smiles. She gets up and walks away. Then she turns and says “Don’t worry. I won’t tell.”
Then he watches her walk away and get back to work.

i find ur kidnap the president stories to be extremely amuzing (i rly hope ther supposed to b funny cz otherwise ima b rly embarrassed). i mean iv only read some of the 10&11th chapter but the theme alone had me crackin up. vry original. extremely. for some reason it reminds me of a cross between grandma got ran over by a reindeer and csi miami. i rly wna read the rest and check out ur writing club another time (if u look at the time its late) and ill defineltly get bak to u

omg ur gonna have SOOOOO much fun in Hawaii like theres no possible way u cant. all the islands out of those are AWESOME, but my personal fave is Maui, but they're all AMAZING!! the usual tourist spot in Maui is Ka'anapali Beach, so i'm guessing ur staying there, and its like extremely AMAZING there. actually its amazing everywhere in hawaii but ya. like i was sooo sad to go home i wanted to stay there forever (which isnt usual for me - usually i get sick of a vacation, and i wanna go home to see my friends. but hawaii is a wayyyy different story! how old r u? im 13
