Hey Oliva.
I need some major help.
My former best friend is a guy. We connect. We have something special. When we hung out over the summer, he would hold my hand. He even told me he loves me more then once. I thought I loved him too. Thennn...I don't know what happend. School started, he started talking to his ex again who totally dumped him, hard. Really hard. I was there to support him.
He is the only one who can stop from from crying now makes me cry. Its a terrible feeling.
He is an incredible guy, he has the ability to make anyone he is around feel loved, and special, and amazing. But now for the first time he is making me feel like crap when I am around him. We went from talking every single day, to him not talking to me at all. I don't know what to do. I miss him.

Hi Olivia! I want to give you some advice on your problem with your new BF. The first thing I want to say is that it's totally fine that you're not exactly on the same page. There will def be times in life when somebody feels something for you that you just DONT, and vice versa. Unfortunately, we all have to live with it! First of all, if he starts saying he loves you or wants to be with you forever, you do NOT have to repeat his words, and you shouldn't! The next time he says something like that, instead of responding with something similar or flat out dissing him, just say "I really like you!" That way, it doesn't feel like a rejection and he probably won't notice too much. The worst thing is to pretend that you feel the same way. I've dealt with guys like that before, and you just have to take it your own speed. It's a two person relationship, and you can play it anyway you want. If he wants to drop the L bomb and tell you you're the one, you have the same right to cool it down. By just saying nice but not TOO nice things like "You're sweet" or "I like you alot" he will start to actually listen to what you're saying and follow suit. If he FLAT OUT ASKS you, "Do you love me?" or something of the sort, it is certainly okay for you to respond with, "This is going a little too fast," or "I think we should take this slow." hi! my name is Olivia. I recently started dating a junior. and weve only talked for about 5 days...... are we moving too fast? he already says he wants to be with me forever. and that hes falling for me hard. i do not feel the same. i mean i like him but not that much! im so terrified........... i dont wanna hurt him. but come on.... too fast for this lil freshman...... anybody got advice for me? plz i need all the help i can get
