Ok good thing u asked me bout cheerleading im like a pro ive been doing it sience as long as i can remember 9 years out of 13 haha well anyways sience ur trying out id work ok sharp tight movements and make sure to lock ur legs and arms. Sience you dont know if your going to become a bace flyer backspoter or front spoter yet or just on the sides id work oh legs and upper body strength because youll deffinetly need it. Id also work on flyer positions is wat we call one ouf our excersises what you do is sit on the ground with your legs infront of u right up against eachother. Then you lean back with your arms locked out to the side in a T make sure your feet are like 3 or 4 inches off the ground and your head cant touch the ground either. Id also work on spits, cart-wheels, round-offs,and jumps suck as hurkies, figure 9's, herdlers, and tow-tuches.
