I have never had that prob since my mom encourages me to show skin, since I am "only young once". I thinks tankinis are super cute. Just find a cute bathing suit u and ur mom can both agree on. Skirted bottoms, sorta granny-ish. Try the bathing suit guide on the style page on GL.com! The last one is perfect!
