That's awesome that you play violin! And my first day of school is on monday too! My suggestion for your outfit would be some colored skinny jeans(a bold statement) a floral top(but not too flowery) and either converse or some cool metallic flats. It will give you that rocker edge, but soften you up a bit so you give a good impression to you new teachers. Thanks Chica. My ears are always open to your advice.-Jen

Hey Sweetie! You're going to do amazing! There isn't a doubt about it! You are working so hard and practicing... it's impossible for you to fail at something that I honestly think is a no brainer! Don't worry! Singing in front of people is so much fun- it's empowering and invigorating. When you're up there, you realize all eyes are on you, but it's not a bad feeling. You aren't scared anymore because you're up there, doing it, it's now or never! You can't take back anything, you've already started! My advice is to just sing your heart out! hey hey, girl you gotta relax. i feel bad that your so stressed out. just take it bit by bit. you dont have to do everything in one day. just make a list of the stuff you have to do, and check it off once you have finished the task. im nowhere close to being done my book for schol, but idrc at all. lol. just because i know that nobody has read it. and stressing out isnt gonna help me do anything, well besides give me a hard attack. lol, jk!!! im getting pretty scared though too. argh!!! just take a deep breath before you walk through those doors on the first day, relax, and enter with confidence!!! ill talk to you later!!! got called back to sing for Dorothy (7 other girls: Amy, Emily and Michaela, Avery , Meredith, and Abbey, and another girl named Rachel). I didn't make the cut for that. They kepy Amy, Michaela, Abbey, and Rachel. Michaela will probbably get it though. She was BY FAR the best. I also got to sing for Gloria (she's a princess in OZ and sing in Evening Star and Merry Old Land of Oz). There were a ton of other people for that. A couple older ladies too. But, depending on who Dorothy will determine who Gloria is. So, I got to sing forboth of thos and they said that everyone would get to read but then at 10:30 they lets us go and said that it was ok that the Gloria's hadn't read because he knew that we wocoul all read. The only thing that I'm worried about is he only knows me as Gladys really so I'm nervous that that's why I wouldn't get the part. But maybe I'll be an OZ attendants or something like that. You just have to take a deep breath and think about getting the words perfect and singing for everyone perfect. I always manage to puch my stage fright and my shyness off to the side, like it's not a part of me. Try to do that. xoxo

I GOT A CALLBACK!!!!! Yay!!! An early one too...they called at 6:30pm and you don't usually get called til around 11pm like they say. Me and my friend Regan think they prob had people pinned for who they wanted to see back...idk though. So we get to read and probably dance again and that sort of thing. And we'll prob find out by tomorrow or tonite (that would be early though) cuz I think practices start on Friday (yay!) I don't care if I don't get Dorothy I just wanna get in the show!
