I haven't listened to The Wailin Jennies. But definately try John Mayer. My favorite song from John Mayer is Half of My Heart. Try Tim Mcgraw also. I'm a country music lover, you may not be but listen to them and give them a chance. You might confuse country with folk. When I was little I used to not like country but it turns out what I thought was country music was folk music. But when I listened to country music I really liked it.
