Hey! I saw you're question on the eating disorder article. Well, there is an eating disorder that "makes you overweight." But just because you're overweight doesn't mean you have it. It's called BED (Binge Eating Disorder) it's the most common eating disorder. But like I said, just because you're overweighed doesn't mean you have an eating disorder Laughing I'd read up on it. KK thanks soo much i am so not a great runner and i need to run six miles not loose weight...Thats my friend she signs onto my account wayy to much sorry bout that... Me i suck at running and for swimming we are going to camp and we need to be able to wake up run SIX miles swim then eat breakfast and then more training. Its my first year going and I am looking forwad to meeting everyone on the team but i am soooo freaked out about not being able to run...So thanks sooooo much for the advice also if any of you know of any strenght training excercises for running i would be soooo happyyy...Thanks a mil.

hey girl! I saw your comment on my profile. You gotta run six miles? My gosh thats alot. But I'll help you build up endurance. Start by running about a mile or something your comfortable with for about a week. Then next week step it up about half a mile or a full mile if you can. At the end of the week if you still feel like you're not ready to step up, do that same distance for another week of until you feel comfortable with it. Eventually you will work your way up to your goal. But its important to let yourself rest every now and then. Take about 1 day off a week. Best of luck!

Yeah, I'd love to help! Okay so are you planning on losing weight or just being able to run 6 miles? Well, I sorta have this problem too. Start off by running 1/4 of a mile. Keep this up and run every day. Pace yourself. Then, once you've ran for a few days start running 1/2 of a mile. Run that for about a week or two cuz it's kinda hard to build up from there. After about two weeks of running every day add it up to 1 mile a day. If you keep working up it's much easier. Also, drink a lot of water and running in the morning makes u feel great and be wide awake! If u need more help I'll have my new health girlie help u out!

It all depends on how much weight you want to lose.... But I'll tell you the truth. Almost every girl I know is sooooo lazy about being healthy. popmusic is giving you advice on eating, and i respect that, but that's not what you need. The only thing you need to do is cut out junk food. period. You know what you really need advice on? Exercise. I might sound a little harsh, but ive never had to lose weight in my life. ever. I can't even name all the exercises you could do to be able to run. Try jogging every day. But if you're serious about losing weight, try out http:/exercisetv.com

DON'T skip meals or starve yourself, you can actually gain weight by doing that.

i have another tip:
now that the extra weight is gone, you should think about how much you want to weigh in 6 weeks or less. now, multiply that number by 10, and that's how many calories you should eat each day (keep the number no more than 20lb from your original weight) example:
160 >< 10 = 1,600
