I think when you're 12, you can go on dates, but they should be group dates and not serious or anything. I'm 12 and my parents haven't really discussed boys with me much, but they said that around 13 is when I'm allowed to go on group dates. But I think 12 is an ok age to hang out with a boy.

No I dont think so! As long as things arent too serious! when i was twelve me and a lot of my friends dated! but probably it is too young to go on actual dates but you could still be bf/gf and hang out in groups after school and stuff!

I think that 12 is a little 2 young 2 be kissing and all, but i think it is perfectly fine 2 go on group dates, and sit and talk and hang out w/boys. hope this helps

I saw your comment on the "Mag" article. First of all, dating at ANY age (usually over the age of eight or nine, but a lot of times older) depends on your maturity level. If you/him is wayy to embarrassed just to walk with you in fear of a family member or a friend seeing you, that strikes you as very immature. At this young of an age, you should get to know him first. Has he been your friend long? Is he a perverted kind of guy? What do you THINK your parents would think about him? (Not saying you have to introduce him to your parents, that's your choice, but...) Get back to me soon if you think I was helpful and remember that I'm one of the best GL Advice Gurrls on the site! It really depends on what kind of dating you mean. If it's just holding hands in the hallways, and saying you have a boyfriend, and maybe going out in groups, then no it's not too young at all. But I think the unchaperoned kind of dating (going out alone, making out in your room, etc) should wait until high school.

I think It's fine being 12 and dating. As long as it's (like yu said) nothing serious. I wouldn't go on actual dates, I just think that yu could be with him at school and stuff. As long as your parents are okay with it...or they dont know....;) Make sure you're ready for it. When I was 13 I thought I was ready for dating and I really wnated too. But when the guy asked me out, I freaked and realised I wasn't ready. Well, have fun!!

Actual going-out-on-dates kinda stuff is too much, in my opinion, for 12, but being GF/BF isn't I mean, several of my friends had on/off boyfriends in 6th & 7th grade! More than anything, I guess, it depends on what your parents say & what it's like in your area. Here, there isn't really anything to do, so in middle school it's just texting/Facebooking/hanging out at school.

Dating at twelve depends on alot of stuff. I'm 12 as well and a ton of people date in my grade it always ends badly! Most of the time, they're to immature and can't HANDLE it! If you and your crush are both mature and think you can handle it, chances are you can! Also keep in mind the fact that if your good friends, a relationship can make it kind of awkward, especially if you break up. So, think: am i ready?

Dating when you are 12 is perfectly fine. The only difficulty is finding a guy who is mature enough to have a relationship with because most guys are behind a year or two in the puberty department.
But having a relationship at age 12 is fine as long as your parents are fine with it.

Saw your comment and I myself have had crushes when I was younger than 12 but have never been in a relationship unfortunately I don't really think 12 is old enough if it's a fun playful relationship than possibly go for it but if it's like your bgf think about if you guys broke up and never spoke again a little upsetting or really any guy I mean you got together for a reason but same with breaking up. And also why date that young so you can say you have or had a bf think about that and again why do you think you will be together for 10+ years and get married prob not but I've met someone who is married to her mid school bf and I don't think they ever broke up. Bottom line THINK ABOUT IT! Hope it helps

i saw your comment on one of the articles(i think it was the golden globes...)and i think that it is perfectly fine to date when you are 12...and i'm not just saying that bc i have;).
if you really like someone then get to be friends with them and listen to when he talks...even if its as boring as his annoying friends gf...and turn your shoulders slightly toward him when your sitting with him or standing with/near him. if you like more than one person then think about which one would be more respectful and YOUR type of guy!

Hey chica! Don't let your body get you down! Every girl is beautiful. So everytime you think of how your boobs make you uncomfortable, think of something you love about your body. Maybe you have gorge locks, or sparkly eyes. Whatever it is, remind yourself of that and how your body is still growing. You will eventually grow out of that uncomfortable feeling. hey ! I need help . im 12 , almost 13 . I wear a Womens XS sports bra and that fits great ! I'm a high-level soccer player . I hate my boobs ! They make me feel sooo uncomfortable . But they're not even that big . What can I do to feel better about them ? HELP ?!!?
