I have a feeling the guy doesnt like that girl anymore, seeing as she turned him down harshly. Get to know eachother better though, & become friends with him first. If you both have msn or facebook you could chat online, which can sometimes be easier than talking in person (especially if you're shy or dont see each other as much outside school). Dont let it replace talking in person though, (: When I want to talk to a guy, my friends and I just hang out with his group. Make friends with his friends too if possible, and maybe they can put in a good word for you (; Just smiling at him, and laughing at his jokes (and crackin' a few of your own) (; can hint that your into him. Making an effort to say 'hi' or giving him a high five if, say he got an "A" on a test or something, is always nice too. Some of my guy friends call me nicknames, like Shorty 'cause Im not that tall, ahah. Its flirty and breaks the ice too, so you can do that once you start talking more. (:

i know! i am behind you 100%!!!! i hate these things! BTW: today is a snow day for me so i am chillin' in my sweats!!!! however, i kinda wanted school today (call me crazy)!
REASONS:
♦ haven't seen friends in forever
♦ we just had a 4 day weekend called "mid-winter break"
♦ we were supposed to have a HUGE review in science cuz of HUGE test tomarrow (which i'm not even sure we're gonna have until the day after tomarrow

want another "my-school-is-too-crazy-2-believe" story????

wel..... here it is....


there is this one guy and a couple of months ago he asked me out. (and no this is not going where you think it is) he is a natural red (srawberry blond) head. he's a little on the chunkier side (not that i'm a stick or anything) and guess what? he made a bet with SOMEONE (not me) and he lost... so now he has PERMANENT BLACK HAIR WITH PURPLE IN THE BACK!!!!!!


here is the other side of the story... the person that he betted all of this with was....






HIS MOTHER!!!!

and guess who died it for him?????

now his mother is the same person who wanted to name their dog marajuna (i don't know how to spell it)

i am glad that you have a positive atitude about this though, i know how some girls don't like a guy but then they don't have the guts to break up with him!!!!


i mean it's like JUST DUMP THE GUY ALREADY!!!!


they end up hurting him anyway cuz of how long they waited to break up with them.


STORY TIME: there was this one girl and she already had a BF but she didn't like him she liked this other guy. well her BF was totally in love with her, so she didn't want to break his heart... or at least that was her excuse... she really just didn't want to be single.... well the guy that she liked already had a GF so she didn't want to break up eith her BF cuz she didn't have a chance at her crush anyway.... but her crush didn't like his GF either.... he liked her... but she already had a BF so he didn't think he had a chance with her anyway.... so they both ended up miserable for the longest time until they're BF and GF broke up with THEM! however whan they had the opportunity to date, they didn't cuz they were afraid that the other person would break up with them!!!!


moral: don't be afraid of life cuz you dont want to get hurt.... live life cuz you want the chance to heal.

sorry for not responding quicker----

i would let him down slowly....
try to avoid words that include:

♥ it's not you; it's me (used too many times)

♥ we need to talk (obvious)

♥ it's just not going to work (akward)

unfortunatley this will be just ass painful for you to break up with him (i can see you still like him as a friend) as it is for him to cope with you breaking up with him... it can not be done easily, but i would suggest do it now rather than later----- the sooner the better....

when you break up with him; don't mention any other guys name (it's a long story) and also don't boost his ego any like, "your really hot but....." cuz than nore than likely he'll cut you off with the whole "than why are you breaking up with me?" also a good thing to say is... "there is a girl out there that you'll fall in love with and she'll fall in love with you; it's just that... i'm not that girl.... sorry" i've never had a boyfriend, so i've never broken up with someone and no one has broken up with me (i have had to turn a few guys down though) so i don't know what it is like but i hope it goes well and you two can still be friends (if you want to)

okay for your wardrobe, keep it simple!!!
don't over do it! a good pair of dark jeans, a nice long/short sleeved shirt, put a lacy tank top over it for a little flair, and then a fitted cardigan sweater, btw:fitted in the waist but long and flowy is always good

for you hair, i don't know, it depends on what kind of hair you have, i like to think of hair in a i guess... 'special' way!(i actually have a chart in my head of what i think looks best on different shades of hair)

"blond-blond" (almost white)- keep it straight this i believe looks best

"sandy"- wavy unless its so short that it looks akward this way

"dirty blond"- i think that dirty blonds can almost get away with anything!!

"dark~headed"- curly but not to the point of frizzy

and if you have extra thick hair, straightening it looks good as long as you don't 'over sraighten*' it!

* over-straighten= when it's so straight that it doesn't have ANY body at all!!!
when this happens try to fluuf it by turning your head upside down so as to make it a little more "loose"

how about you take a picture of something that reminds yo of him! then, ask your parents if there are any old picture frames that you can have.
then, decorate it up!!! paint it, put scrapbooking stickers on it, get creative!!!

mw best guy friends bday is tomarrow and me and my friend wanted to do something for him without it getting all akward; so, we decorated his locker ALL IN PINK!!!
and since he tells me everything (i mean, who he likes, if he thinks hes gonna break up with someone, anything and everything!) i know his combination and we put a bunch of hearts all in the inside too!
it was so hilarious!!

Hey. I saw you asking the mod for advice on what to get your boyfriend for cheap. I saw these adorable Valentine's frames at target like one that said I <3 U and one that was pink with candy hearts all over it. I recomend buying the picture frame and putting a cute picture in there- one of you two kissing or just hanging out. Also, I recommend buying a card and not writing it yourself so get something that's personal but not to mushy- boys don't like that. Hope I helped,
